Do you mean this autoaim? Or the effect when you zoom in and it sort of soft locks to targets?
edit: it is the soft locking. Great mods btw.
I wanted to ask you something about your Power Armor No Transparency mod. I wanted to see about adding those hud's to individual power armor's based on those power armor's appearances. I feel like it could definitely be done looking at the Armor Keywords mod. If you would let me I wanted to see if I could make it. I would credit you of course.
you would need a mod that can input a console command as you enter a specific set of power armor based on what ive seen with skyrimvr and the dragonborn speaks naturally mod, this is entirely possible by someone with the knowhow
I keep having an issue where my gamepad keeps double downing on everything I press. I try to crouch down and it will count as my pressing the joystick twice. When in the start menu or any menu if i try to move down one section it will hop two or three times instantly. I never had this issue before. Not sure whats wrong? Any ideas?
that's because of a setting in Steam, I can't remember exactly the name, but if you open Big Picture, go to Fallout 4, open the controller settings (in the Big Picture mode, not in-game), it's the top one of the three. I think you need to do "Force Off".
the same problem is with many games on Steam, for example Witcher 3, I think it happens with DualShock only
Thanks dude. And yeah it was steam. I found out a little after this post. Much appreciated. Hopefully this will be helpful for anyone else that reads it.
Don't suppose you can tell me the exact menu. I have the same issue (not had it before and i've played this game a lot), I've tried what you mentioned and it's still happening on my Dual Shock 4. Jumps 3-4 menu options (meaning i can't set my controls the way i want). Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks for this. Forced it off and now it works like normal :)
For future reference, the fix to this super sensitive dpad issue is go to Steam Big picture> go to fallout4>manage game>controller options>go to "Steam input per game settings" instead of the default "Global setting" choose "force off" This should fix the oversensitive issue.
You're an absolute legend! Thank you! I thought I was losing my mind trying to control my movements. This needs to be a standard option within the game IMO.
Nice mod! Any idea how to turn those settings into a "lowered" acceleration? I would still like to get the vanilla ADS sensitivity, but have a much milder accelerated speed. What I mean is, low sentivity for aiming, and a little acceleration to help movement, but not as fast as vanilla. Alternatively, a different speed when ADSing would be perfect!
With your mod, walking around feels perfect and responsive, but it isn't great for sniping.
Second this. Specifically I want to lower Y-sensitivity. I've figured out that 'fGamepadLookAccelPitchMult=1.0000' controls the Y-axis for a controller, and I can increase the amount with a VERY noticable tangible effect (10.0000), but I tried lowering it to 0.1000 for testing purposes, and there was no effect in game. Same with 0.5000. It seems that lowering these values past 1.0000 doesn't function correctly in game.
How exactly would you go about lowering the sensitivity of the Pitch (or yaw for that matter)?
this most definitely decreased acceleration by big amount, but not all of it. small acceleration is still there. is there nothing we can do to disable it completely?
I would assume that you just take these 3 values fGamepadLookAccelPitchMult=1.0000 fGamepadLookAccelYawMult=1.0000 fGamepadLookAccelSec=1.0000 and make them all 0
Any ideas on disabling the gamepad target assist? that's the most irritating thing to me as a pad user. Would love for someone to show me how to make it go away.
I have never had target assist unless I hit VATS in fallout, im using a razer sabertooth so i just remapped the sprint button to a proprietary one and its great
Check stickied post! the magnentism settings ive posted disable it. it activates near objects and people and especially around enemies. with this autoaim is entirely off. this effects all input, mouse and joypad.

my other tweak, disables the camera magnetism around objects and people.
THIS DISABLES AUTOAIM:

it would have to be a f4se / dll type mod,
the only way i know how to change it is to change the ini setting
[Interface]
sPowerArmorGeometryNif=Interface/Objects/PADashDials01.nif

i dont know how to make it so tho
Does it work with Skyrim SE?

this makes it so the only acceleration is from how far you have pushed the stick, being a constant speed once its held down.

Edit: Nevermind I had my favorites menu up...derp!!!
This makes workshop mode soooo much easier thank you!!!
