I didn't think I needed to say this but NEW GAMES ARE REQUIRED WHEN INSTALLING PERK MODS! Do not install this mod and load an existing save it will almost certainly break your game.
This is releasing a few weeks earlier than planned due to the next gen update likely breaking LevelupMenuEX and no guarentee that it will be updated for the new version of fallout 4.
Once levelupmenuEX is updated I have a small list of things I still want to add mainly pipboy icons for as many perks as possible.
Any donation points from this mod will go to commissioning an artist to create animated vault boys.
Future Plans
continue to add new perks, I have roughly 15 that I didn't implement in time for full release.
Addons like a level cap and additional skills that don't fit with any special
integration patches with popular mods (ECO, Point lookout, maybe sim settlements 2)
The next gen update broke a core mod this mod uses to function as such you need to downgrade your fallout 4 until it is updated. Use this mod to downgrade until LevelupMenuEX is updated. (please don't bother commenting or doing bug reports Neanka is aware and working on an update.)
I am torn between using Hot Diggity or Be Exceptional + New Vegas style rebalanced. I want my experience to be similar to New Vegas regarding progression and reaching a cap so my character doesn't become a DemiGod. Honestly, would you say Hot Diggity can offer this experience, or would it be better to stick to the Be Exceptional + Rebalanced mod?
Hot diggity is designed for level 60 as a cap, but nothing prevents you from going over. You can hold yourself back and just not level up. And i prefer this mod since it reworks vanilla perks to be useful as well expanding on them with new perks for individuality and replayability
Literally a must-have for me. I feel like most people still use Be Exceptional and while it is truly great, Hot Diggity Redux is the future for me. I hope this gets more updates in the future.
I also feel like the 3x EXP for Speech checks feels a bit too OP after all (I took another trait that lowered EXP gain generally) and yet I was like level 8 or so after just doing the Concord stuff in the main quest. Or was it like that in vanilla? Maybe it's just me, been a while I played the game to be honest.
Does anyone know of any other Perk Mods that can be used in conjunction with this? I love this mod, but at level 150+ mostly have everything you need haha. I neeeeeed mooooree
I've started multiple characters and haven't ever seen the screen after leaving Vault 111 to pick traits, skills, and tag perks. Is there a way to force the screen with the console or just manually add the points to assign? And what are the values of those if adding the points is the only way to do it?
After doing more testing I'm not receiving any skill points on level up either, but don't have such issues with other LevelUpMenuEx-based leveling overhauls (I tested with You Are Exceptional which brought up the tags and skills as expected)
Did you ever figure this out? The same thing is happening to me, only on a new game AFTER having had a full playthrough of the game with HD working properly.
I played through the game with it fine, but after starting a new save I reached level 2 before realising I had 0 in all skills and wasn't getting any skill points for levelling up. Any idea what could have caused this? I have Simple Quick Start to skip the intro and place me right in the vault, but I had already used it fine with the previous save so I don't think that could be the case.
Edit: And no traits show up either. I'll try it without the quick start mod too, but it's all centred on leaving the vault so I don't think it should break it.
Edit: Tried without certain mods that load at the start of the game, then without them and without the quick start, and then loaded from the end of the vault with DLC Timing unloaded. Nothing fixed it. I'll try testing going through the intro with DLC Timing removed later.

Anyway. Great work!
Do you use any kind of alternate start mods?
