1. It should still work as long as the FormIDs aren't changed.
2. Yes, I also noticed that there is some floating and clipping with some of the furniture from your mod. It's because the animations wasn't really made for that furniture. Not sure if there is a way to fix it. Removing the furniture from the XMLs might be the only option.
Yes, this happened after Nexus switched to the new forums. You need to go to the forums and send a message from there.
It could maybe be because you forgot to add a keyword to the Formlist, or something like that? There is a PDF tutorial you can download from the SMM page about adding menus to your mod. It was made for SMM but it could be useful for making non-SMM menus as well.
PDF was informative, but no help, so I broke down & asked the Gods of Freedom Religion. They said "You forgot to fill out your construction file for each mesh". Indeed, my construction files in CK were empty! When I filed out "WorkshopWorkbenchExterior" as my "location" for my construction files, my Workbench Slot finally showed up. Now we know, and knowing is half the battle!
It happens. Reminds me of when I compact the FormIDs with FO4Edit to flag some mods as ESLs and then wonder why patches I later download for the mods doesn't work. It was because I had forgotten that I compacted the FormIDs.
Yes, I think I got all of them except the Corner couches because the animations didn't look right on those. Also, I removed some furniture that had floating and too much clipping when the animations were played on it, such as the Beth and the Queen Anne beds.
Does this have to be placed after NAF and AAF or before in the load order? So far I've not seen any of the anims make use of furniture, just the floor. I have NAF, AAF, and the Bridge installed.
The load order shouldn't really matter. I think there are some mods that has a "Animations use furniture" setting in MCM. Try and change that to 100% chance if you can.
But NAF can't seem to find all the furniture. I'm not sure why.
Yes, it's easy enough to make the animation packs work with NAF at least. You just have to make a copy of the AAF folders and then rename them to NAF.
However, Snapdragon (NAF author) said that quest mods and such made for AAF would need to be edited to use NAF's API. But there was someone that mentioned something about working on a compatibility layer to make them automatically compatible.
Gotta take a look at the file structure for your NAF, probably should add my SS2 ones for NAF as well. NAF looks very promising, I have it downloaded and installed but wont activate it unit that bridge is ready for download :)
Wow .. you even included Hzs EHB & WDB xml's .. I was just about to actually assign 3 settlers to the 'Car Restoration' workstations in Hzs EHB & WDB .. then i remembered YOU made some XML's for that mod and i thought..
What about all of the sexy perfectly restored vehicles we can build and SIT inside of in the Hzs EHB & WDB mod .. ahem .. ;)
Now that I know how to slash poly count by up to a HALF.........(not even kidding) I could make some really cool rides! A 1960 Mercury with a fusion engine? The sky's the limit......
Yes, making these XML can be quite time-consuming and tedious. It requires a bunch of furniture formID copy/paste and then you also have to do a lot of testing to see if there is too much clipping. I'm glad I could spare others from doing that.
Thanks a ton for all your work here, I was trying to figure it out myself and just couldn't get things to click. I was hoping I could ask you to add support for Cozy Beds? https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9221 It would be ridiculously appreciated if you did! :D
Thanks a lot for this! I was trying to do this myself with some of the mods you already covered. The only ones I miss now are https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20703 and Enclave Remnants. Would it be possible to cover these two?
Thanks. I'm currently working on XMLs for Crimsomrider's Unique Furniture. There was someone else who also suggested that I make some XMLs for that one. Haven't used Enclave Remnants before. I will take a look at it.
Just added XMLs for Crimsomrider's Unique Furniture. I took a look at Enclave Remnants but there does not seem to be any furniture in that mod. Or are you talking about another mod?
Thanks a lot for the Crimsonrider one! And sorry for the confusion, I was talking about the Remnants Bunker: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42323
Specially the tables and the bed, I use them a lot on some of my settlements xD.
I made some XMLs for that mod but when I tried to play some animations on the tables and beds there were issues such as people floating a bit (for the table), clipping and people being in the wrong positions (for the beds). It just didn't look so good. The mod also has 40 bug reports. I don't think I'll add the XMLs to my mod because of these issues.
But if the clipping and floating doesn't bother you too much, here is the XML code. Just make a new XML, name it ECVRemnants_furnitureData.xml (Note: this is for the furniture in the bunker), put it in the AAF or NAF folder and then copy/paste this:
It is pretty easy to make AAF XMLs work with NAF. You just have to make a copy of the AAF folder and then rename it to NAF. But I've already done that for this mod so you don't need to.

2 things:
1. If I put a new mesh for my comfy chair, will the XML still work, or do you need to redo it?
2. Some of the animations are floating in mid air......
Keep rockin!~

Anyways, my newest workshop slot isn't showing up.
I'm sure it's something I overlooked.
PEX files & Script files are there.
Quest is done.
Art Object is there.
......Yet the new slot doesn't show.
Any ideas?
I'm banned on YouTube for being an "evil conservative" (not even kidding) so I can't contact the guy who made the video.

Thanks a bunch, man!

That one's all on you! LMAO!
But that's it........It's usually something real easy that we just forgot.

Here it is: AAF to NAF bridge.Edit: The bridge has been deleted.

Well then..........!!

Thanks again for sharing this :)

But if the clipping and floating doesn't bother you too much, here is the XML code. Just make a new XML, name it ECVRemnants_furnitureData.xml (Note: this is for the furniture in the bunker), put it in the AAF or NAF folder and then copy/paste this:
<furnitureData xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="common.xsd">
<defaults source="ECV_Remnants.esp"/>
<group id="Single Bed">
<furniture form="2863" id="ECV_Bed"/>
</group>
<group id="Single_Bed">
<furniture form="2863" id="ECV_Bed"/>
</group>
<group id="SingleBeds">
<furniture form="2863" id="ECV_Bed"/>
</group>
<group id="Alternative PA Station">
<furniture form="2DDF" id="ECV_PaWorkBench01"/>
</group>
<group id="AV-SB">
<furniture form="2863" id="ECV_Bed"/>
</group>
<group id="ChairMedium">
<furniture form="17FA" id="ECV_Chair01"/>
<furniture form="17FE" id="ECV_Chair02"/>
</group>
<group id="MediumTable">
<furniture form="17F8" id="ECV_Table"/>
</group>
</furnitureData>
Make another XML, name it EnclaveFactionItems_furnitureData.xml (Note: this is for the furniture that you can build yourself) and copy/paste this:
<furnitureData xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="common.xsd">
<defaults source="EnclaveFactionItems.esp"/>
<group id="Single Bed">
<furniture form="916D" id="ECV_Bed_Workshop"/>
</group>
<group id="AV-SB">
<furniture form="916D" id="ECV_Bed_Workshop"/>
</group>
<group id="Single_Bed">
<furniture form="916D" id="ECV_Bed_Workshop"/>
</group>
<group id="SingleBeds">
<furniture form="916D" id="ECV_Bed_Workshop"/>
</group>
<group id="ChairMedium">
<furniture form="ED52" id="ECV_Chair01_Workshop"/>
<furniture form="ED53" id="ECV_Chair02_Workshop"/>
</group>
<group id="MediumTable">
<furniture form="AFF2" id="ECV_Table_Workshop"/>
</group>
</furnitureData>
With these XMLs you should be able to play animations from most animation packs on the furniture.
