"Weapon penetration settings" keeps setting damage resistance of all ammo to 0, even with this mod.  How can this be fixed?

Yes, it is. They are independent of one another. jspee1965 asked this and was told they are indepenent of one another on Bastion's page.

    Sup
    love your work

question: using robco patch is it possible to make a mod that gives all armors in the game a durability setting
    ( not power armor )
not only for the player but for the npcs as well ( or at least companions )

I still believe that the armors and clothing section of the game is pretty broken and unbalanced but I think having a durability level might fix that

+ I think it’s possible to use the same system that power armors uses for breaking innt ?

Hey, I seemingly could not replicate this bug. Whenever I switched weapons or unequipped, the armor penetration was removed correctly. Could it perhaps be that in your old save, the armor penetration buff got stuck on your character somehow?

This bug can randomly occur. It also has probably something to do with dying and reloading. I have seen it in the past multiple times.
Another issue is installing and removing mods, which modify this value. This can also lead to the value getting stuck without you never noticing it. This mod makes sure, it never gets stuck.

Just as a note, dying and reloading can also f*#@ up Papyrus scripts. Im not sure why this happens, but it happens. It similar to the Deadeye bug. It happens, but rarely.

Hmm fair enough. I assume it's "safe" to install mid-game? Although I never understood why DLL:s are safe to un- and install mid-playthrough.

I, too, have noticed that (on rare occasions) certain aspects of the game function improperly upon reloading after death.

The Skyrim Mod Requiem disables auto-reload to prevent bugs. So, yes this also happens in Skyrim too.
Yes, you can install and remove it at any time.

They are safe to install and remove, because directly hook into the game. When you remove it, there is nothing left over. If you remove an ESP or ESL, there is also data left back in the save file. You will see this, when you get the message with missing mod xy. Do you want to continue? You will never see that with a f4se only mod

I always reload manually and only use "hard saves". Idk if that makes a difference though.

      thx for the info!

yeah its a known issue in the creation engine.  doing a soft load of a save can improperly load property variables into scripts, as well as many other issues.
Best is to always hard exit the game and boot it up again if you wanna load a save. Including if you die.

With how many mods I use and how long it takes to load, there's no way I am hard shutting down and hard loading the game after every death. The game would take 50x longer to complete that way. I'd rather just get mods that fix these issues. lol
