This, along with the bug that causes Ada and robot companions to have sparks on their feet, is driving me crazy. The only solution for me is to have the afflicted bot enter the Robot Workbench and select any part and install it, then remove it; but it's still a pain in the ass because it happens again anyway the next time you load the game, and if you happen to be away from a settlement, then you're screwed. Almost ten years since Automatron came out and this fucking glitch still exist. Unbelievable!
Been having this issue for a week, changed adas head to robobrain and the light was still there after reloading, this mod finally fixed it and i can give her back the sentrybot head. Thanks!
Downloaded using Vortex, download failed each time. Tried installing manually, didn't seem to work either since I disabled and enabled the robot, used the workbench and reloaded the cell. Had to scrap the robot in the end. This game is truly made in the cold confines of Todd Howard's basement.
I'll try marking it as ".ESL", perhaps that's my mistake.
EDIT: Seems that was it. Reading is important :) However, the bug where the sentry light will appear on other robot heads is still a thing, not that it has anything to do with this mod, just another one of those Todd mysteries to solve.
Awesome man! I hated that I could not build Sentry Bots and see the cool red light because I did not want this bug to happen but this fixed it. It also fixes a similar bug (I suppose it is somewhat related) that puts an electric light under the automatron after loading. Thank you!
