Heyo mod works great! Just was wondering if the miscellaneous file for no Suicider's can also be either Raiders or Cannibals, as of right now it only spawns raiders, but it still works, i haven't encountered any bombers, if not no worries great mod and thank you!
If I wish to add more clothing to the cannibals' levelled list, what lists should I inject them into in FO4Edit? Does this mod add it's own levelled lists or should I change the super mutants' ones? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but I've never messed with FO4Edit before. Great mod by the way!
This is absolutely what I was looking for to replace Super Mutants with humans in my zombie playthrough. But I did see 1 - 2 super mutants still with the cannibals and super mutant corpses will still be super mutants. But I just use the mod to make their skin pink so they look like huge humans.
Yay! thank you Yeat5555 i always thought the greenskins were wacky with this mod at least mutant lairs become belivable, great idea with the cannibles, i was going to use the latest mod that turns mutants into female cbbe muties but couldnt pull the trigger lol. all best love to all.
No need to start a new game. Worst thing can happen the changes won't apply on already visited places and npcs. You can wait for 3 or 7 days to reset leveled lists.
Amazing work. Is it possible to edit their specific leveled lists as a "faction" to make them distinct from other raiders? Since their bases are more gruesome, it would be rad to dress them as cannibals.
Awesome :) I messed around in FO4Edit a bit and got a few raiders to wear some of the armor from Hour of the Reaper, but it seemed a lot of them defaulted to their regular raider leveled lists for some reason. I also switched their faction back to super mutant so that they wouldn't kill the centaurs I added to SM locations, which worked well. Lore-wise, I like the idea that they are distinct and too gnarly for even the typical raiders to tolerate. Great work and I'm psyched to see how you expand on it!
I created a Super Mutant to Cannibal Replacer based on this yeat's work here that keeps the Super Mutant faction data intact and injects some DLC armor, Crimsonrider's Hour of the Reaper bone outfits, and Tribal Forged outfits into the Cannibal leveled lists. I played around with keeping SM voices, but that was super weird. Next I want to add a heirarchy to the Cannibals (Warlord, Butcher, Runt, etc). I'm struggling to figure out how to apply Facegen data so that the new Cannibals don't look the same and aren't all males, but once I figure that out I'd be happy to share my work. But I wanna see where Yeat goes with this first.
This whole process has been really enlightening. I'd love to rework a few other factions into darker, less silly versions without going into annoying, war-fetishizing tacticool/operator territory.

I like the idea of giving them different ranks but I couldn't think of better names, haha. I'll include those asap. I've been trying some armor mods too but Disciples set isn't too bad either. There might be another outfit update once I get their permission.
Applying facegen is painful. The game will stutter hard even on good PCs if not done properly. Better give them mask or helmet.
Incredible stuff, thank you so much. I use Voodoo's mod and this is hugely appreciated. I've always felt including the super mutants into FO4 (and 3) were a bit lazy as their faction and lore felt a bit weak, for me anyway. This is much better and much more enjoyable! Crazed, cannibal raiders!
Yeah, but that makes more sense to me. Even them being in FNV is fine. The lore for the west coast base games are just a bit better when it comes to super mutants. I just think it's silly how they have included them into FO3, 4 & 76 when they didn't need too - it makes it feel like everyone and his mum was experimenting with FEV. But that's just like, my opinion, man.
But the lore does indicate FEV and its predecessor was being worked on by everyone and their uncle because the initial basis for the research was because of the 'new plague' that was sweeping the country and they were concerned it was a bioweapon that was being used by the Chinese. However, it may have been the Government themselves that had released the plague for some reason. So Super Mutants and Deathclaws and such variants being spread across the continent is not that far fetched. So taking out the Falloutish things and replacing them with other humans just turns it into a poor COD or Modern Warfare clone.
