    Great idea, would it be possible to do something like this with the agent name as well? I've been trying to find a mod that allows you to customize your name instead of the hardcoded ones when joining the RR, a RobCo patch would be perfect... no luck when I searched the Nexus. Thanks for this.

    I've installed this mod and set the location for Hangman's Alley only. When I joined the railroad, P.A.M. doesn't give the quest at all even though she should. I completed the first Butcher's Bill quest so shouldn't she give me the Mercer Safehouse quest?

    EDIT: I installed this mod before joining the Railroad so shouldn't it work?

      Sounds like something wrong with the installation.
      Go to the mod's directory Choose Your Mercer Safehouse\F4SE\Plugins\RobCo_Patcher\formList\Choose Your Mercer Safehouse and you should see two folders: _Initial Setup and FensRaiderCampLocation, each with an .ini file sharing the same name. Can you confirm if that's the case?
      The contents in the .ini files should be as follows:
      Spoiler:
      Show

      _Initial Setup.ini:

      filterByFormLists=Fallout4.esm|249DBA:formsToRemove=Fallout4.esm|3C0FE,Fallout4.esm|1B8C53,Fallout4.esm|50C08,Fallout4.esm|5A5E4,Fallout4.esm|176926,Fallout4.esm|24FAB,Fallout4.esm|55402,Fallout4.esm|8281C,Fallout4.esm|24F96,Fallout4.esm|24FAD,Fallout4.esm|56CBA,Fallout4.esm|178E7A

      FensRaiderCampLocation.ini:

      //Hangman's Alley
      filterByFormLists=Fallout4.esm|249DBA:formsToAdd=Fallout4.esm|1B8C53

      I checked the ini files and they both have the correct lines. I installed the mod using vortex (which i hate using). So it should be installed correctly.

      EDIT: Im starting to wonder if it's because i installed this mid-game

      Strange. Have you tried disabling this mod before talking to P.A.M.?
      Her not talking to you is likely the result of _Initial Setup.ini somehow being loaded after other .ini files in this mod, effectively disabling all eligible formlists, which would indeed stop her from giving you the quest.
      Assuming that you're not using other similar mods (specifically ones that edit the FormList RRR04ValidLocations [FLST:00249DBA]) and the quest works without this mod (which would confirm my hypothesis), you can try opening _Initial Setup.ini and delete Fallout4.esm|1B8C53, (including the comma) then see if P.A.M. will give you the quest.

      On your edit: I'm fairly certain that's not the problem; I made this mod mid-game. The mod should work as long as it's enabled before the quest Butcher's Bill is unlocked, which is the case for you.

      I disabled the mod to see if it would work but PAM still gives me the generic greeting dialogue without giving the Mercer Safehouse quest nor any other radiant quests. I also fast traveled away and back to the Railroad HQ to get drummer boy to say something about PAM. Then I even went to her directly afterwards to see if the quest would come up, but it didn't.

      I don't have any mods that edit the Railroad questline or its radiant quests.

      Can you submit it as a bug report? I actually have no idea right now -- sorry.
      Your best bet is to revert to a savegame around the quest Boston After Dark, finish (without concluding) said quest and make a save right before you report back to Dr Carrington. Test from that point.

    I'm using this: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/53553

    I know adding Vault 88 as a candidate is rather complicated. But I need to ask, is it possible to use RobCo Patcher for this purpose?

      To replace the mod you linked? No, not possible.
      On top of manipulating FormLists (which can be easily done with RobCo Patcher, and is the exact thing I'm doing with this mod), the other mod also edits quests and AI packages, adds new quests and scripts. Far out of scope.

      If you want to keep Vault 88 as a candidate along with other settlements of your choice, running both mods should be fine.
      In that case, you can also delete _Initial Setup.ini in my mod (an otherwise compulsory file) since the other mod already does the same thing. Honestly, you won't even need my mod; restoring the desired forms in RRV88.esp with xEdit is easy enough.
      And I have no idea if you'll get any adverse effects on your game with the Safehouse not being Vault 88 with that mod running.

      Ok no problem. I know it's complicated. Thanks for the explanation.

    So cool. I feel like I was doomed to establish the safehouse in Jamaica Plain every freaking time. Now I can choose, thanks to you!
