I have discovered over a period of time since I've downloaded this and used it it game. it does cause ctd's on certain clothes and outfits. Mainly with to do with shoes. Not sure why just them and not all the clothing. Someone smarter with this will know why. just doing a fyi
Perhaps superseded or obviated - if what you say is true. But "pointless"? - apart from your being unnecessarily rude, I don't entirely agree. Because I for one, as someone who can barely open nifskope (to check a custom mesh's texture listings), had no idea it could even be used this way. And can find pages like this, and some comments & discussion etc, an interesting read on my coffee break.
@TheBottomhoodofSteel >ScreenArcherMenu as you can do these changes in game Thank you for sharing info! I didn't know such a cool mod out there. I will reference it on the page. This page's main purpose is tutorial and sharing info. So people can do same thing, even on other game like Skyrim too. Also I prefer modifying file because it feels more simple.
wait... You are the guy making the skeleton? You're doing god's work I appreciate it. I hope you don't mind that I share modified skeleton as a sample on file page. If not I take it down. The reason I put sample is it will make easier to understand the tutorial if result is provided.
Thank you @streetyson Your comment make me smile. I will have good day thanks to you. I hope you have a good day too!
@Streetyson - As the person who developed the skeleton and has tested the update against said Screenarchermenu, I would argue I have the qualification to say a methodology is useless or pointless to do... especially when using ScreenArcherMenu with the latest version of the Skeleton (with ScreenArcherMenu Compatibility) allows you to make these edits in a way that doesn't screw up all characters using said skeleton and is a lot easier for people who "haven't touched nifskope" as you can do it in game and don't risk breaking anything!
@pohif - I understand your motivation and reasoning, and I really don't care if you keep it up or not, but do keep in mind I have a strict "Don't make it my headache" policy when it comes to people forking the Skeleton for edits (and I generally prefer being asked, but I'll let that slide...) , so as long as I don't get a stream of people using your version complaining about issues/problems/etc that I have to handle, I don't really care.
@TheBottomhoodofSteel I admit put modified skeleton without asking your permission was a dick move. I appreciate your generosity.I understand making mod, publish it, maintain it is super difficult thing to do. Like I said you're doing god's work.
>so as long as I don't get a stream of people using your version complaining about issues/problems/etc that I have to handle, I don't really care. I respect your work and concern. I will add a sentence on a file page to do not disturb you just in case.
I have a nif containing the skeleton and full CBBE body with hands and head to visualize changes in real time. Zex v6 should have all the CME bones in the nif, those are what you want to alter values in. I could give you my custom nif if you'd like to help you.
>I have a nif containing the skeleton and full CBBE body with hands and head to visualize changes in real time >I could give you my custom nif if you'd like to help you. That's sounds great. Please! I need it! Also, could you explain how to make such a nif file?
>Zex v6 should have all the CME bones I couldn't find it. Could you elaborate more?
