Good to know there's a fix like this. I always just typed "tpc" into the console to get rid of the problem altogether. since pre-culling never benefit me on my system, but I noticed that toggling off it actually has an effect on some mods (like mods affecting the night sky) that rely on such things.
I managed to create the same bug myself on a custom nif by separating vertices in Outfit studio. The new meshes disappear when the camera get close. Merging both geometries back together fixes the problem but i need them separated. i would like to try the bounding sphere method but i don't know what do exactly.
Thanks you, Could it be possible to make a merge/ patch for "Weapon Workstation Torch Minor Re-texture" so we can have best of the world mesh fix https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/57423?tab=description
For the armor workbench, I think it is? The one that has the barrel of fire hooked up.. it disappears at certain angles.. I think behind as walking by.. Does this work for that? I dunno if it's just me..
You can try. The mesh in question is landscape\retainingwall\residential\RWResStr01.nif. It has no skinning, and it's regular bounding spheres look correct.
*I've noticed the armor workbench also has this issue. Fingers crossed that you'll eventually add that. ;) (At least for me - The thing that flickers is the hose that connects to the fixture that touches the floor.)

If you do so, please include some way for me to find it. The mesh's filename, a base object FormID, or at least some description or a screenshot.
