About
DIY Punk Outfit is a mash-up outfit made from different vanilla sources, with custom made texture work. It's got 20 DR / 15 ER and a +2 Luck boost, you can also fortify it with ballistic weave if you have that unlocked.

Customising

You can customise the outfit at an armour workbench with 3 categories: shirt, trousers and boot laces colour. There are also 3 sets of sew-on patches to choose from for the shirt (you can choose no patches too if you like), meaning a total of 16 shirt options. Along with the 4 trousers options and 7 boot laces, this means there are a total of 448 possible combinations!

How to find
You can find it in relevant containers like suitcases and dressers all throughout the Commonwealth, and for sale at vendors. (This was done with a levelled list injection script, so there won't be any compatibility issues with other mods that edit levelled lists.) It'll spawn with different combinations of shirt, trousers and lace colour options so it'll feel nice and varied every time you come across one.

If you'd like to find one quickly for testing purposes there is a guaranteed location:

For sale at Fallon's clothing shop in Diamond City.

Patches
In the spirit of DIY, all the patches were hand drawn by me. I know many think the punk aesthetic in general isn't very lore-friendly, but I still tried to keep it sensible with the patches - there aren't any band logos or anything undeniably modern. Instead they are more general statements and ideas, and things like worker's rights, anarchism, feminism etc. which had all already been a big thing for decades in America by the 1950s. I of course took a couple liberties as well but you get the general gist.

If you want full lore friendliness I recommend choosing the Commonwealth patch set, those are the patches that reference specific in-game things like the Railroad and Synth rights etc.

Thanks to

Caliente and Ousnius for CBBE, Bodyslide and especially Outfit Studio which is what I used to make the whole outfit.

The creators of Paint.net which is what I used to make all the custom textures.

DankRafft for Injector Scripts which I used in my .esp.

The xEdit team for FO4Edit in which I wrote my .esp.

Onymaru9 and MoreLikeVicky for 3rd Person Animations - the cool weapon idles you can see in some of the screenshots.

registrator2000 for FO4 Photo Mode which I use to take all my screenshots.

rcavanah for Boston Pirate Radio - a fantastic mod that pairs great with mine, I fully recommend it! I had it blasting every time I booted up the game to test my outfit and you'd be surprised how well it fits the game, the tracks were curated very carefully and it shows.

YOU for downloading and endorsing ;)

Don't hesitate to upload pics of your characters with this outfit, I want to see them!
