A small addition to the Excavator PA in the form of lights for the pauldron lamps. The lights are always on. The red light is from the sentry bot's head, the "cone" effect is from the red PA flashlight. The lights work only in 3rd person view. They are added with enchantments. The patch plugin contains overrides of the Excavator PA arm object mods. The file is marked as light plugin.

New in version 1.1
You are able to toggle the pauldron lights on/off. There are two ways to do this.
  • There's MCM menu for the mod. You can bind a key of your choice.
  • From the Utility section of the Chembench you can craft Toggle Pauldron Lights. This is ingestible(consumable) type of item. When used, it will replenish itself again. It works best if you bind it to a key with the ingame favorite menu or with a mod like FO4 Hotkeys. Using the item from the pipboy will toggle only one of the lights.

New in version 1.2
  • You have to build the lights as modifications for the left and right PA arm pieces.
  • There are two types of lights available - regular spotlight and red spotlight. The regular yellow light is from the workshop construction spotlight. I'm still using what's available in the game, so the pauldron lights may not reach as far as the headlamp lights.
  • The lights work in 1st person. This is done with help from a script for displaying visual effects. It's not perfect, because the lights are always attached to the camera, meaning that in 3rd person the lights appear behind you as well. A condition check is used on the magic effects with the script, to detect if the player is in 1st person. There are some limitations - when you switch between 3rd and 1st person, there often is some delay for a second, until the 1st person lights appear/disappear.
  • Warning: It seems there is an issue with the 1st person light. It suddenly stops/disappears during gameplay. It's really weird, I can't find what's the cause and how to fix it, I'm sorry. The lights in 1st person will be back if you toggle shoulder lamps off/on or if you switch between 1st and 3rd person, but will disappear again. I would suggest not to rely on the lights in 1st person, rather use the shoulder lamps primarily in 3rd person. Maybe this method of attaching the lights in 1st person is flawed. Again, sorry for the trouble.
