You're not supposed to have the ESP and ESL from Rheinmetall EG-7 Energiegewehr active the same time. They both do the same thing. Disable the ESP.
The ESL replacer is just the ESL file from Rheinmetall EG-7 Energiegewehr but removes the weapon LL edits that the original ESL makes.
It worked of course, but yesterday when I found one, the NPC had 65 000+ Fusion Cells for it in his inventory! If it happens again, I will take notes, because it must be some kind of mod conflict, right?

That sounds very abnormal. You have ammo mods? Cause it sounds less like a conflict and more like a mistake in a mod.
It's a mistake in a mod indeed. In the EG-7 mod. The Plasma Bolt Accelerator Object Modification adds an Ammo Capacity of... 4294967256 (this is the number that appears if you try to use a negative number, for a lower ammo capacity than the default)!!! Which abnormally increases the amount of ammo added to NPCs.
Edit: The Plasma Bolt Splitter and other mods even on the laser weapon has the same problem; despite this, I haven't had problem with the ammo for those versions, only with the Accelerator. Edit Edit: The ammo capacity problem can be solved by changing the line ADD, to SET. This way we don't have to use a negative number. Question is, does this resolve the 65 000 ammo loot problem? That remains to be seen. Edit Edit Edit: Yup, that was the problem, fixed it.
