I sided with the Institute, Nick got angry with me. Then, because gameplay reasons, his dialogue immediately returned to 'You're My Best Pal' mode. This always bugged me, and so I was delighted to find and use this mod.
In my head-canon, I, the new Lord of the Institute and Post-Apocalyptic Massachusetts, sent a pair of Coursers to drag Nick's creaky Gen-1 ass back to my brightly-lit underground science Utopia and had the Robotics division forcibly re-build his body into this mod while keeping his personality intact, but locked into 'Best Friend' mode. Because, no ancient-ass, proto-synth with uninteresting dialogue options and terrible in-game combat ability shall judge the new God-Emperor of Wasteland Massachusetts!
