Did a mesh texture of this in blender .. have as nif and should have it up in my JMS Weapon Conversions mod in a day or 2 .. posted image in nifskope of it there.

ACtually working on space age influenced energy weapons now for what started as a weapon mod and turned into a faction haha. I saw that the Energy Visuals Enhanced Modder is also planning on working here at some point so I'm trying to not step on his toes.
For ammo, perhaps it can be pseudo-infinite. It recharges over time, effectively having infinite ammo, but only up to a certain number of charges/shots before it depletes. We'll need the CK for something like that, though.
It's important to note that the mechanics of NV, mainly being weighted ammo, made the the Recharger Rifle worth while in comparison to other weaponry. That said, those mechanics no longer exist and ammo is plentiful enough in Fallout 4 that such a weapon would unnecessary and besides this gun has got BFG written all over it. I'm thinking portable plasma cannon.
Sounds like a cool idea. Thinking of going back to this later and removing some models parts to lower the count as others have suggested Let me know if you have ideas or suggestions!
thanks but where do you think you see bad geometry there are a lot of parts on the gun so it's not low poly. I don't want it to look like crap all blocky

this is converted and will be available for play/use in a day or 2. On to the Institute Pistol now.
