Hi! I just downloaded this and the cc tweaks mod and I own the cc. I have the buzzbites recipe, but the auto diner is not showing in he crafting menu. Is this possibly a load order issue?
Sorry I must've missed your message. Haven't seen that issue before but I can immagine it might be caused by installing this mod for a save where the recipe has already been obtained. You could try adding it to your inventory via console commands or just try dropping it and picking it back up but if that doesn't work it might be a different issue.
Hello! How and where can I start cooking\making those food items? I picked up the schematics but now I am not sure where do I start at my settlement to make use of the mod. Is there some special cooking stove or something in the workshop that I have to make? If so, where can I find it?
You can craft ground coffee and sugar at the regular cooking station. The actual auto diner is a manufacturing machine which you need to hook up to a power supply and a terminal.
This looks awesome! I'm curious though if I wanted to change some of the manufacturing requirements for the melon donut, can that be done in FO4Edit or is that a CK thing?
Was able to change the crafting requirements and the name of the item, just couldn't change the name in the terminal. Swapped the melon for a Deezers Lemonade to make lemon filled donuts
I'm on a manufacturing kick right now, but I'm on xbox, so miss out on all these lovely things. Would you be able to port this over to Xbox? Also, is there a way to make a manufacturing machine that would make ALL of the craftable food (like noodles, steak etc), because I'd like a Yo Sushi type thing with noodles going round on a conveyor. I know... I'm weird.
Here's a question: why can't we break down guns and armour in the recycler? One of those weird things Bethesda just left out I suppose. I'm in awe of modders. Thanks for everything you do.
I don't own an xbox and I don't know how to port mods for it but anyone who does is very welcome to make it happen. As to the manufacturing questions: There's a limit to how many items each machine can produce (can't remember the exact number but somewhere between 10 and 20) which is why for example 3 different weapon builders exist even in vanilla. So producing all food items with a single machine unfortunately wouldn't be possible. Your best bet for what you described would be using a vacuum hopper that dispenses whatever food you want. Breaking down guns and armour is possible through mods, although you need to build different recyclers for each type of item due to how the script works.
Thanks. That's great info. I tried using a mod that had weapon and armour scrappers, but it never worked. I've managed to make a Yo Sushi style store a few days ago, using a workshop hopper connected to a workshop storage unit via conveyors, which works, but I have to make the food at a chem station first, then telling the hopper to take them out of the workshop. It's pretty good. I still need a pink paste machine, though. :)
Funny you should mention the food paste machine. I've been thinking about making an automated food processing machine that can make food paste and other similar items. Sort of like a scrapper in that you just throw in all sorts of raw food and corresponding processed items come out the other end, no settings via terminal. So far I haven't been able to edit the script but it's still on my list.
That would be pretty good. If it could provide Food to settlement too, or you could make Shipments of food items with it, that would be useful. For a post-apocalyptic game, you'd think getting food spread around settlements would be a great way to make money and increase Happiness. The lack of import/export options, and auto-selling is weird. There's an Auto-Selling mod, that I use, but it provides a really small amount of caps as far as I can tell.
Also since I and many others thoroughly enjoy the "Coffee and Donut Workshop" CC I made sure to steer clear of any duplicates or too much similarity. My mod can be used alone or complementary but it's definitely its own thing.
The auto diner won't turn up in your building menu (btw found among the vanilla manufacturing devices) unless you have picked up this vanilla item, either by finding it in the Slocum's Joe Corporate HQ or with console commands.
I'm trying to reduce the number of plugins in my load order - I was wondering if you knew if the presence of those script fragments included in this for the terminals would have any issues if the formIDs in the mod were compressed to flag the plugin as an ESL-flagged-ESP?
To my knowledge it should be fine. Papyrus fragments don't cause too much trouble. The main issue with esl files is they mustn't contain too many form ids but that shouldn't be an issue with this. No guarantee though but worth a try... If you run into any issues please report them here.
