Does this work with subway runners station network? in other words is it connected?

I have never heard of that mod when i made this, so there is nothing that would interact with that other mod, no.

What a fantastic location. I do have a quest that starts here, but Im going to complete that quest to be done with this area then activate this mod to turn it into a settlement and hopefully that works out.

    thank you for this

Audrey's quest from "Tales of the commonwealth"? If so, I'm making a patch as we speak.

Out of curiosity did this patch ever materialize?

No, because for some they didn't only add that one single photo item, they also changed some of the decorational items and moved some things, so it was too much of a bother to make a map edit that combines both things, and I stopped playing fh4 after that playthrough where I wanted this spot. Not sure if I'll try fixing it again another time.

You should do the grey gardens house. Don't remember if it has a quest or not

It has some institute quest if I remember right, been a long time since my last institute playthrough.

the tiny house next to greygarden is part of a quest for the institute where you convince a science man to join the institute

Quick question: are all 4 dirty shelves in the back room behind the counters scrappable? I'm tinkering around and noticed that 2 shelves refuse to scrap (2 shelves nearest the wall safe). NOTE: I'm using this on a character I use on the XBOX 1X and I use a Scrap Everything mod (which DOES work on everything in here). Just fiddling around checking for conflicts.

Everything but the dirt pile, the save and the boarded up door can be scrapped. Or should be.
I made scrap recipes for the things that were not natively scrappable, but the four rusty shelves behind the counters are scrappable by default.
At least they were for me, and the only workshop mods I got are Snap'N'Build and Homemaker

I believe I discovered the issue. I tried moving this mod up or down in the load order to see if this changed anything - it did not. I then diasbled Scrap Everything and viola, this was the culprit. Now everything you mentioned, minus of course the rubble n trash, is scrappable. Since I prefer to keep Scrap Everything for the sake of my other settlements, I decided to keep both and have since worked the 2 stubborn shelves into my build for this space. I plan on creating this station into a hideout in which to spy upon the Railroad while also using this as a maintenance 'hangar' for Power Armor. Appreciate the mod. Here's hoping more may come in the future.

you could always try the "disable" console command on those shelves

Would be nice! I'm using this mod on the Xbox 1X console. It's weird I'm sure, but I have two different characters I play on both an Xbox and another on my desktop. I'm using your mod on the Xbox console.

Have you considered Park Street Station by Swan's Pond? Its decently big and if you stretch the build area all the way to the vault doors there is dirt for water and crops so it covers most of what you need for settlement needs.

never thought about that. But i found another subway stations that's quite large, with upper and lower floor. Perfect for store area and living area beneath. I forgot its name, but its the subway station at college square

Out of curiosity how big is the build area compared to the station? Like if I somehow get into the void beyond the walls could I expand the station or is the border tight to the walls of the cell?

The actual build area is just a bit larger than the accessible rooms. BY about one or two tiles in all directions, except for the rail part that is under all the rubble.
That boarded up door has another bathroom sized room you could build inside of, so you could maybe slap a bed in there.
I did consider making the rubble removable and adding a bit of train tracks and a whole train to be part of the build area, but I have not actually done that yet, and I'm not entirely sure if I will.

Finally got around to testing it out. Only thing I found weird is that the boarded up door doesn't work and scrapping it takes the whole door way with it.

it wasn't meant to be scrapped. I build the room, half assedly, but then decided to not actually include that doorway.

The location record must include the external map maker as a "MapMarkerRefType" to show supply lines. But I don't know how to edit location records.

Companions don't teleport in the settlement. They stay outside. Is this intended?
Also, will this be intended to have settlers being able to be sent to? Currently does not show up.

The "Player Followers Can't Travel Here" flag is not set. Dog meat and Audrey can follow me in there just fine.
And yea, settles are supposed to be able to be there. Not sure why they wouldn't be able to go there.

Edit: Turns out the guides i watched to make settlements did not include the whole scripting and quest stuff to make it a fully functional settlement.
I found a better guide and added it Settler functionality. Supply lines also work, but it does not draw the connection lines on the worldmap if you press "Showw Supply Lines" But it DOES work now.

Awesome, both issues were fixed. Do you have any more plans for more interior settlements?

Yes, I do. I want to have some more settlements in the middle of the map.
Remember that one apartment building you have to go to in the railroad quest? It's a tiny interior, but good for a player home.
The Boston Mayoral shelter might also be a fancy place. But I'm open to suggestions, if you got any.

Here are some interiors i've found that don't have any quests connected to them:
      Cambridge Campus Diner (coc CambridgeDiner01)
      Marlborough House (coc EsplanadeMansion01)
Plumber's Secret (coc CambridgePlumbing01) *Fourville mod adds a (Vault 4 Repair Bobblehead) to this location*
Workhouse (coc ConcordFactory) *Interior is very bright in this location, at least for me* - Would love to see the floors repaired, if possible. But don't know much about npc pathfinding in CK and if that would need more editing to do.

Then there is a location that I think would be great to be added. It's the Post Office Station that was "destroyed". If you go to it, you'll see garbage and debris blocking the door. Would need to add the door and link an interior to it. Possibly just copying an existing station, creating a new interior.

The diner and mansion look interesting. The work house is very close to sanctuary, so I'm not very likely do do that one. Nevermind that it also is rather small in horizontal space.
Not entirely sure about plumber's secret.
