Hey! I just recently had a chance to check out your Faces of The Commonwealth series, and I was already using the following unofficial fix for Ponytail Hairstyles by Azar v2.5a: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/52414

I haven't encountered any CTDs while cruising through DC while using FoTC - Diamond City Edition 1.2; I have no idea if this is will help other users at all when using either FOTC:DCE or FOTC:DCE Lite, and it's entirely possible I just haven't bumped into the problem meshes yet or I just lucked out, but it might be worth a try if you haven't looked into this mod already

Also, great work on this series -- I really dig FoTC's grounded, yet still very high-quality takes on various NPCs!

I did actually try the mesh fix, but it's just one mesh and wasn't the one that I was getting errors for. But it's good you mentioned it because it may help others.

After I posted the updated version that doesn't use Azar's, I started having crashes again, but this time on a vanilla hairstyle. After pulling my hair out.... pun soft of intended lol.... I finally found the actual culprit was Rusty Face Fix v2.0.1. I reverted back to a previous version of that mod and the crashes stopped.

@Aurelianis RFF is on version 2.0.2 now, so maybe that's been fixed?

I tried it and I still have issues. I prefer the older version of Rusty Face Fix

    Hmm ...

Vortex tells me that FotC-DCEdition-FSD-Patch.esp depends upon AzarPonytailHairstyles.esp.

Whoaaaaaa I was scared to death this mod was gone for a minute! Phewwww. I was going through my backups and wanted to see if DC Security Guards Overhaul v2.0 got an update and dayyyum, I wish I had just typed in the mod number and seen the Hidden notification and link sooner. lol  A fully voiced fix like this mod is, is just irreplaceable to me. I appreciate u and everyone even slightly involved so so so much! Thank you for this!

Hello! How does this compare to Female Diamond City Security mod beside the obvious difference (missing female voices in Female Diamond City Security mod)? How many female security members will there be with this mod? I would prefer all security guards in DC to be females, if possible.

I have no idea how it compares.

It's a 2:1 ratio, males to females, so you will still see more males. And it's random, so no way to know for sure how many will be female or how many will be male.

I guess I will just give it a try and see. The main reason why I installed that Female DC Security mod was I wanted mostly females in the security, but they all had male voices of the original male guards. Truth be told, there still were some male guards around even with that mod installed, but not all of them were males anymore, it's been a while, but I think it was mostly female guards with that mod, so it was finally some change for the eyes, but I'm a perfectionist at heart, so the male voice problem bothered me a lot. I do hope this mod will fix that. I guess I can have couple of male guards, but if there are finally some females with female voices, I'll be happy, thanks!

Yeah, the no voices or male voices bothered me too, so that's why I did my own overhaul.

Actually, the ratio was changed when I added presets from another mod that I had forgotten about. There are 28 female and 35 male guards, so more like a 5:4 ratio in favor of males but should be more females than the 2:1 that the mod originally had.

It is still random though and I had to force male guards for the Kyle and Riley scene due to how that quest is done (it forces the male voice).

Just a question about the preset you've mentioned there. Is it already a part of the mod or do I need to install some extra mod for it to get more female guards?

As for the scene, I didn't know how that scene works internally, but it would be interesting if a mod was able to change it so that a female guard with a female voice could be in that scene instead. Overall, it's probably just a minor detail, but it would be a nice touch that would give a hint about the change from the vanilla right at the entrance to the city.

The mod had open permissions, so the presets are included in this mod.

I've thought about it before, but it really hasn't been a high priority for me. It would take reworking the quest which is not my favorite thing to do. I avoid CK as much as possible and with quests you kind of need to use it. I do most of my work in xEdit.

Hey! Will the new guards faces spawn the moment I load the game or should I hide in an interior, wait for 3-4 days for that guard NPCs will reset thus getting the new face?

You have to wait until they respawn. Or select them in console and use the resurrect command.

I dont mean to be rude but would it be at all possible to request a version that doesn't use the Alias Framework? Or if not that it might be to remove it myself with FO4Edit? Love your work regardless, keep it up!

Remove the spells from the NPCs, then remove the spells and magic effects trees and finally clean masters to remove the requirement for Alias Framework.

I hate to mention it since you were so awesome putting together the LITE version, but the FSD Patch has FotC-DiamondCityEdition.esp as a master, even though you mentioned it was compatible with FotC-DiamondCityEditionLite.esp.

Ok, give me a moment and I'll upload the Lite version without renaming it. Thanks for catching that!

Heya! Sorry, but i don't get it, patch for The Fens will actually rename guards from there too?

No it won’t rename them as FSD uses several different titles so I just left the generic names. And it’s for the original DC Guards that FSD modifies. Any new NPCs from FSD retain their names. FSD also has named residents that this mod was renaming so this patch makes sure they retain their original names.

Is Eyes of Beauty an absolute necessary mod? or can we just ignore it? Because there's about 10 files from it and i really don't want to have more than 600 mods active

It is because it is a master. But that's one I could probably remove as I don't think I used it much. Give me a bit and I'll upload a new version without it and also mark it as an esl so this mod won't take up a slot. I was actually considering removing it anyway.

I try not to have too many requirements, but for this mod I did want the additional hairstyles. I originally had used an additional 3 mods for hairstyles but dialed it back to only using Azar Ponytails and the hairstyles for kids.

I removed the requirement for The Eyes of Beauty. Unfortunately, I was not able to flag it as ESL and I'm not sure why.

The classic reason is New FormIDs greater than 0xFFF being present in the mod.
