= Installation Instructions.../
Install with Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex.

= Manual Installation.../
Copy the Meshes and Textures folder to the Fallout 4 Data folder. Overwrite all.
- Check out the Alternate textures (and, if you have a newer nVidia GPU, the BC7 version instead!)

= Version History.../
v1.2 - Changed the texture format to BC3 for compatibility. If it doesn't cause an issue for you, the BC7 version looks better (so it's included in the "Optional" folder!)

= Compatibility Notes.../
This mod is a full drop-in replacement for the original mod, Visible Galaxy 4K and Framework by Spacegoats. You do not need to install the original mod, as this package will completely overwrite it. It should be compatible with any additional galaxy textures or replacers that work with the original mod, such as the Stella Luna Night Sky and it will resolve the flickering/wobbling introduced by the original buggy mesh. It might not work so well in Fallout4VR. Theoretically, this mod is compatible with any mod that doesn't edit stars.nif. There really aren't a whole lot of those.

= Includes Community Fixes.../
This incorporates Madcat221's fix for the original mesh by editing Spacegoats' mesh in Nifskope and disabling the skinned flag on the triangle shape that holds the galaxy texture. This reduces the wobble/flicker effect that was sometimes present in the original mod, and may also fix the AMD issue. This does not fix any artifacts introduced by TAA, but I find it flickers way less.

= Alternative Texture Available.../

Original-Inspired optional texture (pictured above), if you like the look of the galaxy in the original mod better. To install, download the file manually and overwrite the texture in ./data/textures/sky/galaxy.dds.

= Dimmer Sky Features than Original Mod.../
This was made with True Storms+True Nights or Darker Nights in mind, so it might look weird with another setup (but it does look pretty great in Vanilla, too). Show me what you've got, and I'll try editing the texture to make it work for you. You may also download the PSD and save your own variation of one of the two textures, which are all contained within the file.

= Texture Information.../
For the subtle texture I started with an existing creative commons texture by SolarSystemScope that is based on ESA and NASA photographic data. I then made changes to it in Photoshop including color adjustments, some difference clouds layers, and a new alpha channel. For the original-inspired texture, I used the creative commons ESA Milky Way Panorama, which was then adjusted by hand with the burn and dodge tools along with some clone tool work to make the texture seamless.

= Texture Source File Available.../

The PSD is included as an optional download so you can edit the brightness or anything on your own if you want. There is an included brightness/contrast adjustment layer to make small changes simply. Feel free to explore the file and mess with the layers to get the effect you want! Save it as a DDS file using the Intel Texture Works DDS Photoshop plug-in. The texture files included in the mod uses BC7 Fine without an embedded color profile.

= Recommended Mods for Realistic Nightscapes.../
True Storms
True Nights
Subtle ENB (with some tweaks)
Realistic Stars 2K
HD Moon With Phases
Radiant Clouds & Fogs (with the Fogs textures removed)

= Texture Sources & Licenses.../
Subtle Texture (default) derived from SolarSystemScope
| Creative Commons CC BY 4.0
Cinematic Texture (optional) derived from ESO/S, Brunier
| Creative Commons CC BY 4.0
