UPDATE 7A: Repaired Archives, cleaned archives of errant packed files.
If you want this jetpack to be compatible with other power armors prodvided by mods you need to:
load this mods ESP and the ESP of the Power armor you want to create a compatbility with in creation kit.
Once creation kit is loaded, Click ALL in the Object window list, in the search box Search EAGLE
The results will show you you need to make a MISC Object, an OMOD, and a Craftable Object, 1 for each paint scheme.
Right click and edit each of the types and variants (EagleJetpack, AtomCats, BOS, etc) and change the name designation to the power armor you want to support. I.E for Misc: pa_comp_T45_Torso_Misc_EagleJetpack TO pa_comp_Raider_Torso_Misc_EagleJetpack.Hit OK and select YES to create a new item form.
OMOD (OBJECT MOD) - For the Object mods you need to make sure to change LOOSE MOD in the drop down menu to what torso_misc there is for the power armor you would like to support. [ Example : pa_comp_T45_Torso_Misc_Jetpack TO pa_comp_Raider_Torso_Misc_Jetpack ] once again hit OK and select YES when it asks to create a new item form.
After you've created the variants you want for your power armor of choice got to FILE > SAVE AS and name your ESP EagleJPPowerArmorNamePATCH and then make sure it loads AFTER both Eagle Jetpack and the power armor ESP files with Vortex / Mod Organizer.
Everytime I downloaded this the jetpack were invisible. They still function, they're just invisible. Not sure why. I don't have any jetpack mods installed. Maybe captains power armor paint pack is conflicting with this? I'm not sure. Maybe the other power armor mods conflict?
Uninstall the current version of this mod and delete it. Redownload it and install it again and see if that clears the issue up. Looks like a case of corrupted files.
Are you referring to the power armors themselves or the jetpack skins? Each Jetpack Skin is it's own model so you'll have to make each color variant, as I'd made this before material swaps were better documented. No limitations on making them beyond material costs and I think Science Perks.
As for the power armor skins themselves, most are attached to quest line stuff I think (been a while since I've done a playthrough of FO4). In the image it is : Default, Brotherhood of Steel, Nuka World, The Institute, Atom Cats, The Railroad and Nuka Quantum (also nuka world). So you'll just need to play through content till you find the paint mods or obtain them from the world wherever they're located.
Try installing the mod manually instead of letting any mod manager handle it. Possible there is some staging corruption happening with a mod manager making the files load from not the game directory directly.
Specific to a particular skin or all of them? Might be a material issue but it's hard for me to really tell since I am personally not having any issues. . I have not had FO4 functional for quite some time so I will try and look into it.
For brevity let me know if this is the 1024 texture version or the default 2k version you're experiencing the error(s) with.
If alternatively you would try downloading it to a different location on your computer ( a separate hard drive) and then manually place it where your mod manager of choice can access it and then install it through that) would help me determine if it is a corrupt download.
Faster response than I was expecting, thank you. So, for your first question, I don't know. I installed first with Vortex the top item in the files tab, clicked install and then enable in Vortex. Looked right after creating at pa station until I fast travelled. Followed your advice to the person who first reported the issue, but it did not fix it. I manually downloaded and installed the 2 ba2 files and ESP if I remember correctly directly to the Data folder. I have a tried already unzipping the file to my C drive and then moving it to the correct folder, this is actually my main method of manually installing mods. But as far as which texture version there was only one texture BA2 file, and when I used Vortex there was no FOMOD so I really am not sure where to go with that question.
Oh, and I tried 2 skins The nuka and the regular eagle (not the rust version) and they were both messed up after loading a cell.
2nd edit: So the 2nd file is the 1024, so I was using the 2k. Another edit: Tried with 1024, issue did NOT repeat.
Okay that tells me a material file is borked with the 2K textures. Thank you for checking and clarifying. I will work on a fix for this coming weeks patch as well as condense the packs to 1 and get material swaps in place for it instead.
I use JET PACK OVERHAUL is this mod compatible? If not could you pretty please with ice cream, chocolate sauce, and a cherry on top give us a file with just the the models and textures so I can use it with my preferred gameplay mechanic modifying mods? I don't know if it works like that but it would be super cool if you could do that. Love your work by the way the style of the jet packs is very fast looking.
If they were all together in one mod, I would consider it. As they're not however, that's a lot of individual patches to make. I will include some instructions how to create a compatibility patch in the sticky, though it will not go into merged esp files or anything of that nature.
That mod changes the same variables but certainly has the advantage of letting you pick / change them in game. Thanks for sharing that it's compatible.
Looks fantastic ! I have one question, still : are the textures 1k or 2k ? Do you plan on upscaling/downscaling them at some point to give the player the ability to adjust them to his own PC specs ?

Rank 4 Science, Rank4 Armorer
10 each of the following crafting resources:
Aluminum
Asbestos
15 Nuclear Material
25 Steel
The Nuka Cola variant requires 1 Nuka-cola.
