always wonder, how some ex-military or ex-attorney able to operate power armor, without a problem, and instantly able to fix them without anyones knowledge how to repair them
one guy is at bunker hill and no he didnt list them and thats the only one i know about and only because i looked at the comments and screenshots and put 2 and 2 together but hey at least you know of one place to get your training
Well....if you use your eyes and look at the photos included in the mod, one is on The Prydwen, one is at Bunker Hill, one is at the Atom Cats' Garage, and the last one is at The Castle :/
Nice idea, that makes the power armor something special. Before I integrate it into my running game (level 13):
- Is the mod compatible with True Perks or will it possibly break a perk? - What about the initial mission for the settlers at the museum in the T-45? Or does the blockage only start after that?
This does not touch perks in anyway. And there is listening script that will bypass the requirements for the MM quest at the museum. It will bypass the get in PA and get Mini gun requirement and start the assault as normal.
Unfortunately this wasnt the case. I got into the PA at the Museum mission and was instantly removed with a popup saying "You are not trained for Power Armors".
That is working as intended now go fight the deathclaw with your bare hands lol. The quest still moves forward, and it is not stuck waiting for your to get into it, or for you to pick up the mini gun.
actually, rather than make you ejected, is it possible to force pa slow walking until get the training? just my personal thought, like even raiders have some sense to drive the frame, imaging them having the same issue like player, they can wear it but running or force the pa to do things further will hurt them, which makes any driver without training could only walk it slowly, and in this way, people can still using T45 on the freedom museum in first quest. But also makes you more vulnerable when encounter deathclaw
It may or may not be compatible I didn't test it but based on the description they should be compatible.
If you do use it together it probably would work by booting you out of PA until you get my PA training perk, then you would have those penalties until that mod gives you their trainers perk.
I was more saying that is an alternative that stills allow you to pilot it without training but with penalties similar to what people requested.
Just leaving this note for anyone else trying to decide which mechanic they want to use.
If you use the other power armor training mod (PAT I think its called) be aware its not compatible with anything that changes the PowerArmorPerk when wearing a PA frame as stated in its description - so Better Power Armor Redux etc. would no longer work or conflict I believe as well as any other mod that touches that perk.
From a compatibility standpoint Classic Power Armor Training (this mod), because it just boots you out looking for the animation set not the perk, is much more compatible with other PA altering mods. Plus the voiced trainers in this mod are awesome! So far I have tried a variety of PA mods from stat changes to loot rarity and have had zero issues with Classic Power Armor Training. Love it!
I finally got around to a save long enough to make use of this mod, and... MAN, is it good. I was genuinely giddy upon receiving my power armor training and getting into my first suit of armor. The combination of Bethesda's power armor rework and your mod make it feel really special to finally get it. It works really well with a mod like MAIM, where you finally feel confident enough to just barge into a combat situation and go all action movie on some raiders. Fantastic mod, and highly underrated.
I am 100% not being snarky, my rebuttal is, does every infantryman know how to drive a tank? Does every mechanic know how to fly the jet? In-service training normally specializes. So no one is going to receive all the training. Not every solider in Anchorage was in PA alot of grunts with g3s. But ultimately it was a missing mechanic that was stripped from fo4 that I wanted to put back and let people have back.

and I would like to tell your mod not to block access only to this armor but I don't know how to do it
