this doesnt make that much sense if you're playing as nate since he already served in the military and most likely has been through pa training, but here my rant on why nora, settlers, and raiders can use them: For nora nate prolly taught her incase of emergency situations, raiders and settlers, only high level raiders can use power armor which prolly means that they know how to read and read a manual or something.
I hope you can point me in the right direction. I installed your mod and now am looking on how to make the original fight a Concord library to play through. The PA on the roof is unusable because at the beginning as I don't have training which is understandable. How can I give to the player a temporary training for the PA to do the deathclaw fight?

absolutely adore this mod, definitely one of my top 10. I use the female sole survivor so it makes sense she can't use power armor and I did a run where I didn't learn from anyone but the bunker hill, and with difficulty mods installed in survival and having to scrape together 2000 caps it really brought back the feeling of having to get the caps for The Strip I highly recommend this mod especially if you play Nora for immersion.
I don't really love this mod but man it's a long way to bunkers hill ^^ but it makes more sense I guess to not put the guy at covenant or so. Thanks for this great mod!
And it's probably a hard ask, because that mod seems heavily scripted. I had some weird stuff happen when ejected while both mods were on - like getting frozen, or the PA turning invisible. Not recommended. Seems to be a conflict where both scripts execute at the same time and interrupt each other.
I've been using the mod for ages, always in survival mode and with Nora. I also almost always play without armor.
I usually learn how to use the armor and find one myself when I need it. That's worked great so far. This time I bought the armor from Bunker Hill and noticed a bug. With this armor it's not possible to wear a helmet. The helmet is automatically removed and goes into the inventory.
I'm posting this here because I don't know if this is a one-off error in my game. If anyone else is having this problem, please let me know and I'll add the error to the bug report.
one guy is at bunker hill and no he didnt list them and thats the only one i know about and only because i looked at the comments and screenshots and put 2 and 2 together but hey at least you know of one place to get your training
Well....if you use your eyes and look at the photos included in the mod, one is on The Prydwen, one is at Bunker Hill, one is at the Atom Cats' Garage, and the last one is at The Castle :/
having to go search through comments and straight up look for the locations through screenshots is not an intuitive way to integrate it into the game. a feature such as using power armor shouldnt have some mystery behind accessing it. its a core component to fallout gameplay.

As far as limiting PA access without this mod, I'm going to try Less Power Armor Frames + No Free Power Armor in Concord.
But if I decide to remove the PA Handling mod from my list, I'll definitely reinstall this
