Overview

After playing SS2 for a bit, I found that there is currently a lack of industrial production plots for indoor spaces. So I decided to make some more. 

This add-on pack is for Sim Settlements 2 and adds 20 new industrial plots to the game. In addition to the base sim settlements 2 files, all of the DLC packs are required.

This add-on is a work in progress so let me know if you come across any problems and i'll see what i can do to fix them. (I should note, I have 2 kids, so i'll respond as soon as I am able.) 

I am planning on building more plots and have listed some of the ideas on the comments page. Let me know what you think or if you have any other fun ideas for other production plots or really any other type of plot and I'll try to get them made!

Also, If you haven't seen it, check out my other Add-on pack Support Structures of the Wasteland which is currently focused on municipal plots, but will include martial and agricultural plots in the future.

Summary of Add-on Plots

This add-on pack currently adds 10 interior, 3 1x1 exterior, 6 2x2 exterior, and 1 3x3 exterior industrial production and conversion plots including the following:

1. Wasteland Tailor
  • Factory space for your seamstress to produce the finest garments in the wasteland!
  • Interior Plot
  • Produces Various pieces of clothing for clothing merchants
  • Primarily consumes cloth, but also some leather, adhesive, and steel

2. Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (First Aid)
  • Manufacturing of various pharmaceuticals to address the various plagues affecting your settlers
  • Interior Plot
  • Produces first aid items including disease cures, antibiotics, etc. for clinics
  • Primarily consumes acid, but also a bit of antiseptic (aka ethanol)

3. Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Chems)
  • Manufacturing of various pharmaceuticals to put a pep in your settlers step!
  • Interior Plot
  • Produces Chems including Buffout, Mentats, etc. for clinics
  • Primarily consumes acid, but also a bit of antiseptic (aka ethanol)

4. Wasteland Mint
  • A bottle cap factory for funding all your various wasteland activities or providing lids for your beverages. (I mean making your own bottle caps cannot be that hard, right?)
  • Interior Plot
  • Produces bottlecaps for your settlement.
  • Primarily consumes aluminum, but also some plastic

5. Material Packaging (Building Materials)
  • Why produce something with all that junk when you can just repackage and sell it!!??! [My solution to filled up virtual component storage]
  • Interior Plot
  • Produces shipments of building materials for general stores
  • Consumes the same amount of materials as found in the shipment (i.e. 100 steel for 100 shipment)

6. Material Packaging (Machine Parts)
  • Why produce something with all that junk when you can just repackage and sell it!!??! [My solution to filled up virtual component storage]
  • Interior Plot
  • Produces shipments of machine parts for general stores
  • Consumes the same amount of materials as found in the shipment (i.e. 100 steel for 100 shipment)

7. Material Packaging (Organic Materials)
  • Why produce something with all that junk when you can just repackage and sell it!!??! [My solution to filled up virtual component storage]
  • Interior Plot
  • Produces shipments of organic materials for general stores
  • Consumes the same amount of materials as found in the shipment (i.e. 100 steel for 100 shipment)

8. Material Packaging (Rare Materials)

9. Cork Processing
  • Tired of having your settlers use their thumbs to seal the royal wine? Well here's a factory to harvest all that sweet cork you've been wanting!
  • Interior Plot
  • Converts wood into cork

10. Wasteland Blacksmith
  • A blacksmith to produce the swords for that renaissance fair you've been planning.
  • Exterior 2x2 Plot
  • Produces metal based melee weapons for weapons shops
  • Primarily consumes steel, but also some cloth and adhesive

11. Synthetic Oil Distillation
  • Why take the easy route and dig a hole for your oil when you can over engineer it?
  • Exterior 2x2 Plot
  • Converts wood and bone into oil.
  • Tall process structure.

12. Nuka Cola Bottling Plant
  • The great national temperance drink, Nuka Cola, is available again for a limited time! Don't wait, order today, and get your very own bottling plant!
  • Exterior 2x2 Plot
  • Produces Nuka Colas for Bars.
  • Tall structure.

13. Hatters Hattery
  • Hats, hats, and more hats! Our prices won't drive you crazy, but the mercury will!
  • Exterior 2x2 Plot
  • Produces hats for clothing stores.

14. Dr. Eckleburg's Optometry
  • Above the gray land and the spasms of bleak dust which drift endlessly over it, you perceive, an eyeglass factory?
  • Exterior 2x2 Plot
  • Produces glasses and goggles for clothing stores.
  • Includes new colors/types of existing sunglasses and eyeglasses.

15. RobCo's Advanced Tech Manufacturing
  • A factory to produce all those random tech devices you forgot to buy on black friday!
  • Exterior 2x2 Plot
  • Produces vanilla and SS2 tech consumables for general stores. (Stealth Boys, ASAMs, etc.)
  • Tall structure (3 stories + Stack)

16. Power Armor Manufacturing
  • A factory for the aspiring warlord to outfit the conscripts with state of the art power armor.
  • Exterior 3x3 Plot
  • Produces power armor frames and parts for power armor stores.
  • 2x Occupants, Tall structure.

17. RobCo's ASAM Mini
  • RobCo brings you macro ASAM production at a fraction of the floor space.
  • Interior Plot
  • Produces ASAMs for general stores.
18. Ammo Hut Ballistic
  • Ammo Hut, a relaxing hut paired with the beauty of heavy industrial ammunition manufacturing!
  • Exterior 1x1 Plot
  • Produces ballistic ammunition for weapons stores.

19. Ammo Hut Energy
  • Ammo Hut, energy edition! Enough energy to fuel your war machine... or burn down the hut.
  • Exterior 1x1 Plot
  • Produces energy ammunition for weapons stores.

20. Ammo Hut Explosives
  • Ammo Hut, explosive edition! This hut has recieved glowing reviews about its ability to mass produce nukes and radiological mutations in the surround community.

  • Produces explosive ammunition for weapons stores.
