for those who want a workshop function, try this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/43493?tab=description. It allows for a placable workshop anywhere.
I really enjoyed the range, so much potential. Just a thought, you can make an Enclave/BoS/Minuteman boot camp or training mod with that concept. You can do a shoot house training scenario, hostage shooting, sniper range (field fire and range fire) run from point A to point B with shooting targets in between, with cover/with out...all timed...like competition shooting.
I had always wondered why there isn't a mod that allows you to do training to boost your character's stats. You have a great start with this. Awesome potential.
thanks; i was thinking of a bigger concept like you described, but this might get stale to quick. I would say use this mod and then build yourself one ; in the CK or with the workshop mode. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/62235
Yeah i decided instead of letting generic dungeon music play, to use ambient sounds only, so there are neon light, vent and storm sound markers around. I liked the atmosphere, but if ppl really dont like them i may remove them. It was a test to see if i could create a cosy, realistic atmosphere with sound markers. You may go into the cK ourself and remove them. I might also write up a skript to make them play only IF there is an actual storm outside. I will put it on the list.
The secret to creating "cozy" background noise is actually well documented. Nobody likes complete silence. What we call "quiet" is far from it. We like familiar sounds, like the soft sputter and occasional crackle of a fire, friendly voices talking and moving around, or the soft hum of our appliances. It's the things we don't hear at the conscious level that make all the difference. Rustling leaves in the trees, animal and insect noises, and distant water are examples. In a bar, it's the shuffling of feet, sound of objects being moved around, and unintelligible conversation. So here's the idea. Make a sound file that has these elements. Then reduce the volume until you can barely hear it next to a sound marker (tweak the attenuation). That's the level that your brain still registers from farther away, but your conscious mind doesn't find distracting.
yeah i put tags on all of my mods keys, notes and such, so it is easy to find for people when they pick them up and identify mod items form vanilla once (something i like for myself, too). I guess the issue with the Sorter results from the brackets, so i might switch to a Bracket-less system, that still allows for alphabetic sorting.
This mod offers no workshop and i dont plan on adding one, cause i wanna keep the precrafted atmosphere alive.
Uhhhhh, no we need that bud. This allows users to add or take away whatever furniture they choose to, making them love your epic mod even more. The bar is groovy and all, but I would love to add things like one of Cwiss' showers to it, believe it or not, this would allow me to take a shower ingame which is very helpful in survival playthroughs, but having the power of workshop allows users to simply solve any trivial add ons for themselves.
I can understand why a workshop makes sence, one can intoduce items from other mods and add unique deco. If this mod would live in a vacuum, i would have introduced it, but with mods like scrap everything, i see users breaking my mod really fast. BUT i might have to introduce a simple, home plate like workshop when i want to make it a place i can send companions to. I am currently working on figuring out how to make this with a lean script and just an item, but i am not sure if this works. So there is hope for you all. And if not, users can add it them self. Neeher has a nice all incasing tutorial on how to add a worksop on his YT. And making it just a small toobox is simple, that would not be an issue holding me back. Also a quick fix, if you miss just one or two items: You may go into the CK and add them to the cell yourself. thats simple and easy.
So: TL:DR: I might make it one. I am working on something that might require a workshop setup.
Really good to see that there are still some people with a lot of output in terms of quest mods and player homes. I gotta say, pretty nice level design with this one. I really like some of your concepts and the overall composition. Funnily, you also seem to have chosen a building in Concord that is already occupied by another mod, which happened to me as well.
Just an idea, but SS2 has a whole team of people behind it. I'm sure there's someone that could be reached on that team that could help you get it to where it's conflict free. Plus, it could be a great addition to the atmosphere of Concord created by SS2!
Yeah, I too wouldn't move it too far away if it needs to be moved at all. The author could theoretically just add another prefab house somewhere to Concord like the one he used for his interior. Hopefully at a place where it doesn't conflict.
yeah i did exactly this. I introduced a new house along the road north. This will be implemented in update 2 that will bring a bouncer system and (hopefully ) an option to send companions to it.
This looks neat! Sadly not something that would get put in my load order because this conflicts with Beantown Interiors - that is a building already used by said mod. :( But kudos for the idea and implementation!
yeah that is always a thing with using premade buildings, being late to the party. But that would also be a point to improve on: giving it his own building.

Also, you might want to drop the [TCC] tags from books and keys so FallUI/Complex Sorter will automatically tag those. Thanks for the mod.
After
and never mind the rename.

It would be appreciated if you reconsidered.
