    Sticky
    EDIT: 28 April 2024

I may abandon these patches altogether, in favor of the BLD Robco Patcher. I recommend you use this in lieu of multiple patches.

    Original sticky:

I am consolidating all patches I make into JOTC Patch Central. I will leave this page up, but please check Patch Central for updates.

Thanks for all the comments and questions. I hope these patches continue to be useful.

would any of these patches be needed if someone use Better Locational Damage - RobCo Patch.

or will the conflicts still be there?

That's an excellent question, and I'll try to remember to answer it when I get to that point. I'm working on an update to my load order and my guide.

Thanks for making these.  Same question as above - if using BLD Robco patcher, are these patches still needed.  Looking at F04 Edit, AN76 and BLD have a lot of conflicts - body part data, etc.  I know you mentioned in the sticky you recommended Robco patcher over individual patches - just not sure if applies to all the conflicts that these patches address.

      Thanks!

Having read the Robco Patcher description page, as far as I know, the correct thing to do is to put BLD high in your load order, let everything else win conflicts, and let Robco Patcher handle making sure BLD works. That's what I've been doing, with no patches to anything - including AN76 - and it seems to be working. (Especially head shots. Boy, do they work.) So even though ESL patches take up no room and you can fit about 4000 of them, this still saves a lot of work.

Is the BLD ECO-FIS mod compatible with the old ECO or the new ECO Redux?

I use ECO Redux, so that's the mod I made the patch for.

Splendid work on your patches, but just a heads up in MO2 I am getting Missing Masters:

      Master ECO.esp  required by JOTC-BLD-ECO_FIS_Patch.esp

In latest Eco Redux it should be looking for Dank_ECO.esp

Forgive my ignorance, friend, this could very well be a silly question, but several patches you've done is for cosmetics/textures mods. Does BLD messes with that too? Also, could you please make a patch for the Raider Overhaul ONE - No AWKCR too? that would be awesome! Thank you!

As far as I know, BLD doesn't change anything cosmetic.

I am a 4est fan, so I will check out Raider Overhaul ONE. If I make a patch for it, it will show up here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/77043?tab=files

Hi, do you have any plans for creating a patch for Feral Ghoul Expansion Pack? Or is it not needed? Thanks!

Maybe. I'm working on an update to my guide, and it will probably include FGEP. Any patches for it will be uploaded to the JOTC Patch Central. (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/77043?tab=files)

Hi, I'm using BLD and Better Automatron Weapons 1.3 (has "BetterAutomatronWeapons.esp" file name). But the BLD compatibility patch I downloaded here requires "JOTC-BLD-BetterAtomatrons.esp" Are these different? I really can't find any JoTC or "of the commonwealth" with "J" related to automatron DLC in nexus. I've found Hookers of the commonwealth tho (HoTC) and Jackets of the commonwealth. lol

I have both BLD (with the Armor Overhaul) and Better Armor Scrap (ultimate edition), along with your BLD Better Armor Scrap patch, yet for some reason DLC armor does not have increased scrap the way base game armor does. Is this a known issue, or did I do something wrong?

EDIT: Disabling Armor Overhaul didn't change anything. It also seems to be only some things, so maybe Better Armor Scrap is just missing some stuff? The Operators Heavy Left Leg has the modified scrap values while the Disciples Strapped Right Arm does not.

Hello, I use Outcasts and Remnants and BLD, how does mod for the one effect the game play?

The reason I ask is I don't understand why I would need this mod.

The patch for BLD-OAR is pretty simple. It carries forward some flags related to the player character so that neither BLD nor OAR's flags are lost because one overrides the other due to load order. I'm not actually sure how much it affects gamplay, tbh, but I'm conscientious about these things just to be on the safe side of game functionality.

    Audiodef,

I second the sentiment that BLD is criminally underrated, and as such, hardly any patches for the newer and legacy mods exist. Thank you for your work.

I was wondering if you had any BLD helmet patches in mind. I use a lot of the Look at Me series (Raider One, CoA, Institute, etc) and for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to add the helmets to the BLD helmet list. If this is not something you have in mind, is there any guide out there on how to add mod-added helmets to the list. Thank you in advance for any insight.

I think I know what you're asking. That might be more of a mod than a patch, but let me think it over for a bit. :)
