About this mod

A simple patch I created to fix the hitscan bullets applied by ECO Penetration Framework, now they won't be hitscan and instead use the effects from Burst Impact Blast FX and the ballistics sourced from different mods to create a realistic effect

UPDATE 1.1: Overhauled the system, now each vanilla caliber has 8 variations (10, 30, 50, 80 damage, suppressed and unsuppressed), and each caliber has proper muzzle flashes, bullet models, VATS bullets, ballistic properties, tracers (or no tracer if they are suppressed) and they also get faster as they do more damage, to add some progression to it. Still needs some work, but we're on the right track






ECO PF
 is a wonderful mod that simplifies the patching required to make Penetration Framework work with your game, it simply allows you to "attach" the penetration effect, with damage of your choosing, to any gun from any mod using whatever ammo, it's brilliant! its only issue is that the newly created custom bullets lack any sort of ballistic properties or visual effects, they are hitscan and at least for me this breaks immersion, small 9mm rounds travelling miles instantly doesn't look right. So I picked up Burst Impact Blast FX, took the values and properties from "AssaultRifleProjectile" and added it to every single new bullet added by ECO PF. 

The end result is that your guns will now have both penetration capability and tracers/ballistics/cool impact effects, the only issue being all bullets added by ECO PF have the same exact ballistic properties, I chose that bullet because it's the most applicable to all guns, fast enough to use with snipers but not so fast it makes small calibers look out of place and too powerful

If you are interested in a more specialized ballistic profile based on damage I could do it, if there's interest I can work on this a bit more! my idea was to divide them into damage ranges, but it's up to the player to not "cheat" and give the 10mm pistol the ballistic properties of freaking 50 BMG ammo, it would works as follows:
10,20,30 damage= 10mm ammo ballistic properties and effects
40,50 damage = .45 ammo ballistic properties and effects
50 to 100 = .556 ammo ballistic properties and effects
100+ = .50 ammo ballistic properties and effects
