About this mod

My attempt at making backpack mods as consistent as I can, revolving around Backpacks of the Commonwealth - LITE

As an Avid Survival player, I know how much of a pain bringing materials is to my base. But I don't want to remove the weight limit, as it offers interesting gameplay dynamics. My Solution? Take some of the nicest Backpack mods that caught my eye and rebalance them into one big overhaul.
I did this because my previous playthroughs, I just ended up using the Scavver’s backpacks. No real incentive to use the other ones. Especially when the BOTC stuff give you an agility penalty for carrying the equivalent of 2 pipe guns. While it is true that they can help a lot with making weight comfy to carry, I feel that the sort of progression would be more rewarding if I made tiers of Backpacks

The gist of it is that it’ll have some steady progression throughout your playthrough. When you start, you’ll mostly see Teddy backpacks with 20 carry weight (40% Chance for a normal, 15% chance for a “novelty)

As you level you will have a the chance of getting backpacks. Brahmin and Wanderer's backpacks being the highest change, Canvas Backpacks being the lowest. They will spawn on Gunners, Raiders, and Minutemen starting at level 5. I tried my best to make them spawn as infrequently as I could while feeling natural. Due to how Gunner's LL works, you'll have a much higher chance of getting a pack from gunners. These backpacks are set up in tiers, once you break the 60 Carry weight threshold, you will suffer an AP debuff as well (as opposed to BOTC’s Agility Debuff). The max BASE carry weight a backpack will spawn with is 55. Anything higher, you will have to hunt a backpack down from Backpacks of the commonwealth. The highest debuff you can take is -25 AP

Yup, I edited Backpacks of the commonwealth too. I didn't like the severe agility punishment and how broad it felt. I'm sorry, 35 Carry weight made me lose agility? My take is that Once you hit 60 Carry Weight, you will suffer debuffs, starting at 5 AP Reduction. The max is 90 at 25 AP Reduction.

You can still craft every other backpack mod besides the BOTC packs but I DID jack up the materials a bit more. Wanderer's Backpack is the ONLY backpack you can safely get to 70 with no penalty but is also the biggest pain to get. Snatch one up if you can!

As a bonus, I also edited the Stalker Backpacks mod to have proper carry weight buffs too. 40 to be exact. It's the most consistent but also the least upgradeable. If you want something basic, craft one of those. I removed the hand-placed ones so LMAO nice try.
