Installation:
This mod can be installed and uninstalled at any point of the game. Simply d
ownload and install first the Main File, download and install the required mod (see links) for the add-ons/optional files of your choosing then download and install your optional file.

Commonwealth Hit Squads – Private Contract Talon Company Patch:
Use this patch if you’re using both Commonwealth Hit Squads and Private Contract. 

Alternative Patch for Captain Wes - 
For players that have already killed Captain Wes. Only use this patch if you’re 100% certain that Capt. West is

Introduction:

One of the things I miss most from the older Fallout games are consequences, having good or bad karma, siding with a faction, or doing anything to annoy certain groups always merit some type consequence for the player. Base game does have some, but nothing compares to your first encounter with the Talon Company after exiting Megaton, or the first time you see a Legion squad running at you full speed only to be butchered by them afterwards. Let’s also not forget about those damn NCR Rangers either. This mod aims to bring that same feeling of dread and uncertainty whenever you’re out in the waste exploring or doing some quest, not knowing when or where the next hit squad will appear after you’ve just narrowly survived your last encounter. 




Hit Squads:

The hit squads will come in two waves depending on the player’s progress on the main quest. 


First Wave: 
Hit Squads will start to appear at random encounter locations all around the Commonwealth, after the player has
been kicked out or banished by any of the major factions, they may spawn the same day or the following days after. They will appear mostly in squads of three just like in FO3 (with exceptions), and will be equipped with the best weapons and gear that their respective factions has to offer. Hot spots are open roads, bridges and intersections, so be on a look out every time you pass these areas. They will stop to spawn after the player destroyed their main
base.  

Second Wave: 
These squads will start to spawn after their main base has been destroyed by the player. They are basically survivors or other members operating or patrolling around the waste during the events of their faction’s demise. Without any place to rearm or resupply they will be equipped with lesser gear than their first wave counterparts,  but can still pose as much threat and are still very dangerous compared to other vanilla npc’s. They will now also spawn with common wasteland weapons such as combat rifles, hunting rifles, assault rifles, etc. along with their signature faction weapons. They also have a chance to spawn equipped with their rival faction’s signature weapons such as laser rifle (BOS), Institute Rifle (Institute), Gauss Rifle (Railroad) etc.

Gunner Hit Squads:

Same as the original mod, Gunner hit squads will start to appear after the player has killed Captain Wes.   

Nuka World Raiders:
Nuka World Raiders will spawn both in the Commonwealth and in Nuka World. They have less spawn areas in the Commonwealth compared to base game factions but will spawn more frequently in Nuka World. Spawn locations in the Commonwealth are bridges and chokepoint areas. 

Nuka World Raiders will spawn in two ways. First is by getting kicked out of being overboss, which occurs when the player kills any named NW Raider or Boss alternatively progressing Open Season. This will spawn hit squads from all the NW Raider Factions. Second is by killing the betraying NW Raider Boss during the events of Power Play. This will only spawn hit squads from the betraying NW Raider Faction. 




Difference between vanilla npc patrols or other traveling npc’s: 


Unlike vanilla patrols that just casually stroll after they’ve spawned, the hit squads once spawned will immediately run towards the player and will attack once in range. They will relentlessly pursue the player, even after entering interior cells, fast travelling, or even going to DLC areas. Only way they will stop their pursuit is if they are killed or the player has been taken out. You can also identify them by the notes they’re carrying with the players details on them.




Armor/Clothing Leveled list:


All npc’s in this mod although custom made, uses vanilla leveled list for their armor and clothing to have better
compatibility with any custom armors that have leveled list integration or total replacements. Unless these integration/replacement edits the npcs itself instead of the existing vanilla leveled list, most armor mods should work
without a need for a patch. Best example is the replacer patch made by author Nukedpepsi for the Classic Combat Armor that will work with this mod right off the bat.  



Updating from the original Gunner Hit Squad: 


Gunner Hit Squad Main Version:
If you’re updating from the main version of the Hit Squad mod, simply uninstall the original mod and install this after, quest has not been changed for the Gunners so no issue should occur afterwards. 

Gunner Hit Squad Alternative Patch for Captain Wes:
If you are using the alternative patch, make sure to uninstall that also before installing this mod. Make sure that you also install the Alternative Patch included within this mod after installing the main version.

FNV LMG/Bozar Patch Released
Replaces vanilla Assault Rifle of all Hit Squads with the FNV LMG and equips the Railroad Hit Squads with the Bozar by jkruse05

Installation:
Make sure you're using the updated version of the main file(version 1.2). Download first either the FNV LMG Stand Alone Version or the Main 5.56 Weapon Pack Version then install the patch. Will work with all other weapon patches and c
an be installed at any point of the game or on any existing save file.

HK G-11 Assault Rifle Patch 1.2 Released:
Updated to work with the FNV LMG/Bozar Patch

Update Installation:
Simply uninstall old version and install updated version. Can be installed at any point of the game or on any existing save file.

HK G-11 Assault Rifle Patch 1.1 Released:
Equips Gunner Hit Squads with the G-11 Assault Rifle by asXas.

Changes:
G11 now replaces Vanilla Assault Rifle (same as G3)
Added ammo types (JHP, JSP, AP, HP-BT)
Polymer Skins/Materials upgrades now reduces weight of the G11

Update Installation:
Make sure you have the latest version of the main file. Download and install first HK G11 K2 by asXas, download and install optional patch. The G11 can't be used along side the G3 Battle Rifle.

Updating from HK G-11 Assault Rifle Patch 1.0
Same as above then simply uninstall old version and reinstall new.

G3 Battle Rifle Patch Released:
Equips the Gunner Hit Squads with the G3 Battle Rifle(replaces Assault Rifle)  by Subleader100 .

Other changes made to the G3:
Lore Friendly Weapon Names Integration
Added ammo types (JSP, JHP, etc.)
Removed Damage Modifier
Removed G3 from the Chem Station.

Update Installation:
Make sure you have the latest version of the main file. Download and install first HK G3 - Battle Rifle by Subleader100, download and install optional patch. The G3 Battle Rifle can't be used with the G11, use one or the other.

HK G-11 Assault Rifle Patch Released:
Equips the Gunner Hit Squads with the G-11 Assault Rifle by asXas.

Other changes made to the G-11:
Fixed issue with the barrels not adding range when upgraded to
Fixed both laser uniques having low Fire Rate
Fixed Standard Receiver using vanilla SMG standard receiver misc mod 
Added Armor Piercing receivers 
Added INNR for weapon upgrades
Added Hyper Burst upgrade which increases damage and rate of fire for 3 round burst
Removed Raiders from G11 leveled list
Removed Damage Modifier for balance purpose.

Make sure you have the latest version of the main file. Download and install first HK G11 K2 by asXas, download and install optional patch. The G11 can be used along side the G3 Battle Rifle.

Some minor changes to the weapon leveled list to balanced out the weapon load out for all hit squads, and to accommodate future weapon patches.

Gunner Hit Squad Alternative Patch for Captain Wes:
If you are using the alternative patch, make sure to uninstall that also before updating to this version. Make sure that you also re-install the Alternative Patch after installing the updated main version.
