Any chance 4 a clean version to fit the vault beds ? i make buildable static pillows for place on beds via geck, but im a total noob with making textures/meshes ...
It is a 'Straw Pillow' post-war, and the clean one is 'Comfy Pillow' so it's not a matter of clean and dirty. I wonder if that's lost in translation in the mod authors localisation? But hey, if you would prefer your straw pillows were dirty pre-war pillows here you go.
Yea, but the thing is that the vanilla version looks like a gross, moldy and disgustingly dirty straw-pillow, and not like a at least half-way clean straw-pillow. I could never put my head on such a thing, and I am therefore really grateful for the dirty version provided by this author.
@ImmortalAbsol you're right, it's Straw Pillow in my translation too (oreiller en paille). But, a straw pillow's a bit odd on a dirty mattress (not a "straw mattress")...
Ignorant people think the brown is all filth but it's just meant to be hessian sacking. The problem is exacerbated by the Fallout Wiki which wrongly says it's a cloth pillow cover but if you click to enlarge the pic you can see it's clearly meant to be hessian jute sack. And this is what you'd expect of a pillow stuffed with straw because otherwise straw would poke through regular cloth and wreck it in a day or two. I've slept on hessian straw-stuffed mattress & pillow - it wasn't too bad, better than the floor. That said, the FO4 hessian texture is a bit too grubby looking and needs tweaking.
Turn it into a regular dirty cloth pillow if you like - hey, it a free, lawless, irradiated wasteland. But ask yourself - in reality, would you rather put your head on a homemade rustic hessian sack filled with recent straw (or whatever) you've selected, or a filthy old pillow?
