About this mod
Did you know that there's a drag race going on at the Atom Cats Garage? Too bad it's already over before you even get close to it. This mod fixes it.

Description
When you first approach the Atom Cats Garage, it was intended to show a drag race between Zeke and Johnny D. but the developers made a little oopsie and that scene starts way before you can even see it. What a bummer! Being a big motorsport fan and car enthusiast, it was my duty to remedy that.
I fixed the bugged scene start with 2 edits to the game and the gang will wait now with the start until you get close to them.
Installation and load order
You can install this mod with any mod manager.
If you're new to this, here's a guide.
The files of this mod are packed into a BA2 archive and are loaded with an esp. The esp is flagged as esl and don't consume a load order slot. I had to edit a quest which contains dialogue but I build string files for all 11 official supported languages so you won't need to translate the esp into your language.
I suggest to place this mod at the top of your load order, right after the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch (if you use it).
How to start the scene
When you get close to the garage the race will start automatically. But here's the catch.
Unfortunately you have to start a new game for the mod to work. So that the bug no longer occurs, I had to change the corresponding quest so that it no longer starts directly at the start of the game. If you have started the game yet, this quest is already running and my fix will not be applied then. Sorry about that.
You can still install this mod right now and it will trigger the scene in your next playthrough. That would be better then forgetting this mod and only remember about it when it's too late.
If you just want to watch the race without starting a new game, you can open the console in the main menu and type in:
coc AtomCatsGarageExt
(In case if you're not aware of, you can copy any command with CTRL+C and then paste it into the console with CTRL+V)
This way you are right there for the start of the race. Works with or without this mod installed.
Fun fact: that's how I stumbled upon the race and wondered why it never happens during normal gameplay.

Shoutout to DeeZire who fixed this bug on the PS4 long ago. Because there was no PC version available I poked around in the Creation Kit and tried it myself. And failed a lot. Took me only 4 years or so until I had a solution in mind that just works™.
