Why haven't I seen this before? 😍It's just magical!!! Author, if you're still here, thank you very much! I can imagine how much work has been put into this wonderful creation.
Thanks for the updated version! - works better for me anyway. The previous glitches I had seem to be taken care of. Great settlement idea though, lots of room and options to run with.
Hey there, Bub! First of all, I just want to say that I love the idea behind the mod! I've wanted an actual castle-inspired settlement for ages! Though I would, unfortunately, report that I can't appear to build in a few areas of the castle. Such as the shops, the open area just outside of them, the interior with the minuteman statue, or the other little decorative bits with the brick flooring. Now that being said I really like what you're doing here, my good friend. I just wanted to give you a straightforward heads up. Oh and thanks for the cool mod! I look forward to seeing what the future brings forth!
I'm running into the same issue and am looking into it. Thanks for letting me know. In the meantime you could download Place Everywhere to build there. The navmeshes are all there so hopefully your settlers walk up to the shops. If the settlers can't walk to their shops placed with Place Everywhere, try assigning them, fast travelling away and sleeping for 2 in game days. Then fast travel back and they be standing there at the shop I'm not sure. That's just a trick I used to use when I mod I downloaded didn't have navmeshes.
i can confirm it fixed the problem kinda. the houses cant be built in also the things you use needs to be lowered like an inch so dont get that texture fight
I don't know why everything would be doubled for you unless you have both "Spectacle.esp" and the new "SpectacleIslandKingdom.esp" files in your load order. You need to disable/delete Spectacle.esp because that's the old version of my mod (Technically that one was version 2). If that doesn't fix it try gathering your settlers to the docks with a bell, disabling the mod, and running the game and creating a new save file without the mod loaded with the settlers already near the docks. Then re-enable my mod and see if that fixes it.
i dont have both i dedownloaded 1 and i instantly started a new game when i downloaded v2 or 3 i dont remember also i never had settlers there becuase i cant build is sustain places of the castle which very weird and annoying
Excuse the maybe stupid question, The Kiddie Kingdom had internal cells, in this version there are internal cells or it's all in the same cell (I ask before trying), I guess there is only one external cell if the workbench is inside the building...Second question, should I scrap with ScrapEverything and change the pre-combinations and or is it advisable not to touch anything first except complete the cleaning of the mirelurks and activate the workshop?
If you use scrap everything you will possible delete parts of the castle, I'm not sure. I would suggest you save your game before you try. Best if the mod author answers this to be sure.
I meant, use ScrapEverything before installing the mod, to clean the island and then install the mod. As for the cells ... it's a single exterior cell right?
It's all in the same outside cells. I deleted the doors to the interior cells after I copied Kiddie Kingdom over. Then I used assets from Croup Manor to make those buildings empty on the inside so you can build and go in them. (That's the picture with the steps in it) - Also the center-most blue building in this picture:
I also made a large area under the top of the castle where you'll find a statue. You can use scrap everything before installing this mod, too.
I tried the mod, but why hasn't anyone thought of it before? Truly beautiful, huge, buildable and furnishable, with no thousands of requirements to download. You answered my questions and all right. Some moles, the position of the workbench, can be moved with PlaceEverywhere, some parts of the shack where it is placed float (see 1 | 2) together with the wires that come from the boat, I think there are no problems in scrapping and rebuilding them, after all the big work is already done by you. A few blades of grass in the Covenant house and the position of some fence walls, a matter of height, if these are problems ... Nice work, thank you very much. Now we have to fill it with settlers and see where Bethesda's engine will make them roam, on Spectacle Island they've always given me vanilla headaches, whether they're walking in mid-air or underground, whether they're going to the shops or what. I'm going to try.
I lowered the terrain so the grass wouldn't show up in the Covenant houses and I blended the workbench into the castle pretty well in V3. The settlers should roam everywhere within the walls if you place your bar inside the bar area and beds in the covenant houses. The wires have also been repaired in this new version so you can unlock the settlement with the mod installed. I also made new interiors so you should check out version 3 and thanks for giving feedback!
I didn't know how to move it but now I do so I'll make an update for it soon. Which parts of the castle are you unable to build in? And can you still open the build menu?
when i tryed no i cheated to get the settlement calmed the parts that dont work the houses the inside of the castle the bridge the shops that are aprt of the entire build the floor in that railed ride (pics can be provided)

I just released an update so you should be able to build in the castle area now.
Best if the mod author answers this to be sure.

EDIT: Done Workbench | Wires and fence
