hi, an incredibly good mod, really amazing... Installed exactly according to the instructions and runs absolutely perfectly... Thanks for that, it's definitely worth a donation... just great...
I have been wondering whether this will fit in my current game, and yes, it does. I mean with the level of cleanup and rebuild you do compared to my janky, junk built settlements in the area. I have a the Minutemen tower and a few little scav settlements within a few cells of this location. Compare to my basic level build skills, this is some superb work.
I am going to have to put in a bunch of your settlements on my new game to make my world come to life again.
Doing F4 again. Got this one and installed prior to going there. Works great and has good frame rates in and around the area. Your detail to the work is amazing. Endorsed
When I removed both this and TheSlogNoMore, they made the workshop disappear! I could no longer enter build mode in the settlement. I solved the issue by loading another character, travelling to the settlement and selecting the workshop to get its ID number, then reloading the character missing the workshop and using the console command to move the workshop to my character. So, it seems to be around, just not in the settlement.
The workshops on both are the vanilla aside from them being moved....
Ive never heard of an issue like this ever before in 7 years of modding.... Possible save related issue....or a conflict of some sort... In general uninstalling mods mid playthrough has unpredictable results...
Also note: When uninstalling any location mods...make sure to be somewhere else so that the data from that location isnt loaded...(example: fast travel elsewhere far away so that youre not in any type of visual range like sanctuary in this case... SAVE and exit... Reload the game and save again then exit and uninstall... This way its sure that you dont have any data from those locations loaded....
Btw did you uninstall both locations at the same time ? Thats not a good idea in this case because those mods are so close to each other and share certain previs cells...Also if youre using any type of build area expansion mod they may even be intertwined making it a bit tricky...
Thanks for the quick response! I did figure it out before seeing your response.
My mistake: I removed the mod while my save was in the settlement. I went back to the save before removing it, then fast travelled out, removed the mod, fast travelled back and everything was fine. Just like in math class back in school; order of operations! :)
While the base idea and creation is nice, I am having a few issues. First off, your power "generator" isn't working, nor is the transmitter it's hooked to. Neither are scrappable or buildable. The turrets are too far apart for vanilla wires to connect to, idk if this is a bug or a feature. various lights not working or selectable. Some big machine in the water is neither selectable nor scrappable. Using current version of Vortex with all DLC's.
Its obvious you have a conflict somewhere.. all the resources you mentioned work without issue and were tested many many times with a truckload of different saves and characters. The issue could be with any mod that alters settlement resources like water and power etc... In the description if you read it all...i recommended a mod for the turrets so that you dont need to power them up...(trust me its a must ).. Also any object you cant scrap you can disable with a console command...
First, I love your settlement mods. It's like people learned, over 210 years, to build and improve their land without the Sole Survivor doing it for them...inconceivable! As soon as I powered up the missile turret, it removed the supermutants at the satellite array, which was awesome.
My other reason to post is that in every one of your settlement mods I've tried, the power connectors are about twice as far apart as they need to be to connect. I'm going to try Longer Power Lines which will probably fix it...my load order is too long to ask anyone to look through it.
I pray that all of us who have been out of work can get some paying work soon.
Fantastic job! I installed this mod along with your County Crossing and Slog mods at the same time, and a very interesting thing happened. I found that my settlers in County Crossing and Slog would gather at the Finch Farm restaurant for a party every day.
yeah that bar at finch is nice...:P Question have you set up stores like bars ,diners etc at the other two locations ?( its weird about the slog especially since it has a diner and bar and designated relaxation areas that should be keeping settlers there on their off time) Also are you using any mod that expands borders etc ? It sounds like the sandboxes are intertwined
I have not set up new stores yet at these settlements. And I have not assign someone to bars or diners in County Crossing or Slog. However, I do installed the "Settler Sandbox Overhaul 4.0 3x Radius-20442-4-0" MOD, that may be the cause. Again, great job!
