For those that are using custom companions that have a lot of specific and unique dialogue (Ivy, Tales from the Commonwealth companions), ensure when that custom companion is recruited, he/she is the "primary follower" set in the AFT settings via the global misc chat settings.
This will put the custom companion into "slot 1", which hooks the appropriate aliases onto the custom companion.
If you do this, you should see the expected behavior from custom companion mods, as well as hear vanilla companions also interject as well!
Note 1: This is only for custom companions who utilize the vanilla follower system. You do not need to do this for custom companion mods like the popular Heather Casdin, Wasteland Barb, etc. that use its own follower system indepen... -
