4/22/22 - New update is out. Please replace version 1 with version 2. I made all new normal maps for the Queen and Hatchling. They're now more detailed than before. See images for comparisons. File size has also been reduced considerably. 96MB now compared to 160MB. Let me know if there are any problems with the new release. If you have any questions feel free to send me a private message, or comment below. Enjoy!
Going forward I'm going to start using the Fallout 4 High Resolution Texture Pack as a base for my work. It will allow me to produce higher fidelity textures more so than the present vanilla textures I'm working off of.
My goal with these series of mods is to produce better looking textures than what's already out there for you and myself to enjoy. That's all it comes down to. And furthermore, I'm not going stamp my name on something and publish it if there are vastly better looking alternatives out there already. That's just a waste of my time and not my intent with this project.
That's why I will never touch landscape texture when Spiffyskytrooper and Pfuscher have already created incredible looking ones for example. Or the recently released DiamondTheWall Retexture by 103Sakamoto. (Which you should download, btw. It is very well done.)
:)
That's all from me. I hope to see you on the next one!
BA2 are a packed archive and will need a plugin for it to load at the start of the game loose is what they are will be in a folder as loose textures you can see in the folders. Loose will take up more space than compressed files FO4 runs smother as you add more mods in compressed form but if you need to use a the same texture you can use loose as they will override the same packed texture.
Prioritize one archive over another is just a case of load order.

Very good job buddy, thank you for sharing it with us, much appreciated.
Now why do I have this feeling that the Mirelurks are next on your list?
