- The lamps have a magnetic base, so they can stick to the map. - There's a small spool of electroluminescent wire in every lamp base as well. - The wire can be pulled out and attached to another lamp's base. - An induction loop in the map conveys energy and data signals to the lamps. - While you're not looking, Cletus upates the map by moving the lamps around, connecting wires, etc.
The 2024-04-25 Fallout 4 update Version. Does the mod have any problems for this version? The paths are not displayed on my map, although the map setting ("E"-key) appears.
My main base is in the settlement Mechanist Lair (DLC Automaton). In this location, only vanilla Nuka World and Far Harbor maps appear in the construction menu. I tried to make the Rescue Menu in SMM, tried to put the satellite map (according to the guide from the description) in the specified folder, tried stopquest lsm_prerequisitescheckquest startquest lsm_prerequisitescheckquest but it did not help. All maps are missing except two.
In other settlements, all maps appear normally (the one I added too). How can I fix this using FO4Edit?
Alternatively, open NISTRONLiveSettlementMaps.esp in FO4 edit. Find LSM_Workshop_CO_SM_Commonwealth. Change the BNAM Workbench Keyword from WorkshopWorkbenchSettlement to WorkshopWorkbenchTypeExterior.
It would be cool if there were a way to add more maps for other worldspace mods as attachments to this. Places like "Farmland" or "Wilderness" could greatly benefit from this. A wall of my networked empire lit up and under control.
Okay, so I used this for 5 minutes aaaaaannnnd, It's totally f*ckin Bad ass, I Love this map, It shoulda been a thing in the game from the start, great amazing job on this, a wonderful tool, especially for those who are playing a roleplay of a Military or something and need a tac map of sorts for their territory, this is perfect, very good job, Endorsed and shared with a few friends
HI, for some reason the satellite map of the Commonwealth does not appear, neither the black nor the white variant, the normal map version does appear but I wanted the satellite and it is not there.🤔
Such a cool idea! I won't be afraid to use words "immersive" and "tactical" to describe it :D Seriously, instead of having a PipBoy tab to magically know status of all your settlements this seems way more immersive, like your settlers interact with the map (offscreen) and update their status, as for tactical, the best feature for me is being able to see what's in stock of each settlements workshop so i know if it'll be a waste of time to go collect from it. Would be even better if it also had it's own blinking color indicator, just saying. And if it had similar "weights" as BS Defense does for stuff like food, water etc. I set it up in BS Defense to be 0.5 for water but i'm assuming that the map still using full value for it's calculations, not halved one, good thing i only have one water farm :)
Any thoughts on an eventual update for the NG updates? If not, completely understandable -- simply didn't find your mod until right before the update and hadn't even gotten to play with it!
It looks epic AF though, and I'm keeping it in my stash for hopeful future use (either via your hand or a patch.. I haven't the type of modding knowledge needed to even pretend to try)
First and foremost, I just now realized I failed to endorse this mod despite using it with all of my settlement-focused play throughs. So, I took care of that.
Second, what flag/property does it look for from a custom settlement to register on the map? I've noticed that the Creation Club "Charlestown Condo" doesn't show up on the map, although the other four Creation Club player homes do. I want to make a patch, but I haven't been able to figure out what to look for.
I had to pause my gameplay to come and endorse asap. The mod is impressive. I wonder about the many pissibilities of features implementation if some mod autor have interest in that.
I loved your mod so much that I made a translation for it: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/76687 It's the first time I've uploaded it, I'm sorry if I didn't ask for permission, if you think I've crossed the line just let me know and I'll delete it without resentment For some reason I can't change the name to "translation", Vortex won't let me, it only allows me to put the name of the original mod.I don't know if it's a Vortex problem or if I'm doing something wrong. If you're patient with this newbie, show me how to change the name there, otherwise it'll be practically the same as yours, which could confuse people when searching.
Thank you for this. The lack of anything like this in the vanilla game (even without the settlements and supply lines added) has been a lingering grievance for me. You have gone above and beyond with this one, and it is definitely getting added to my essential mods for every playthrough list (along with Gathers Out There and Salvage Beacons). I will be following you with great interest in the future.

You can try turning it into a full settlement with this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3777
Alternatively, open NISTRONLiveSettlementMaps.esp in FO4 edit.
Find LSM_Workshop_CO_SM_Commonwealth.
Change the BNAM Workbench Keyword from WorkshopWorkbenchSettlement to WorkshopWorkbenchTypeExterior.
only just found this mod and think it sounds great.
maps are my passion!

Indoor settlement must have a linked map marker in the exterior, for it to be shown on the Settlement Map.
I have Charleston Combo I think, I will take a look.
