(April 9th 2024 Update: In the event an update breaks this mod it is unlikely I will update it. Hopefully just updating F4SE and LevelUpMenuEx will be enough, if it is not I apologise in advance.)

After completing the conversion process for the Humble Hot Diggity Perks Pack I had a few ideas of my own that I thought would make interesting perks. Rather than add them to that pack and make a big mess of things, I went ahead and started a pack of my own. This mod is the result.

The goal of the Miscellaneous Perks Pack is to add some interesting and unusual perks to the game, along with some perks that are similar to existing ones but require different SPECIAL stats. For example, "You're Breathtaking" improves how long you can hold your breath underwater, but requires Intelligence rather than Endurance.

What I most wanted to add was some new Traits, unfortunately the process for doing so is not as straightforward as for adding perks, and would have required adding an existing perk mod as master. I may yet try it, but it will be a separate mod if so.

Probably the most interesting perk (I hope) is the Peculiar Priorities set of perks, which increases your damage and energy resistance, but absolutely TANKS your radiation resistance. But the fourth and final rank, at level 100(!), has quite the payoff...

Obviously, as an initial release, it's very likely there are bugs or mistakes in implementation, especially as I am by no means an expert at this. If you can explain the problem I will try my best to solve it, but please understand if the solution is less than ideal.

As the Miscellaneous Perks Pack does not rely on any of the other perk mods it should also work alongside them without issue. Bear in mind that, depending on which perk mod you're using, there may be some crossover effects, as indeed there are with some vanilla perks. Make a save before picking a new perk so you can revert if necessary, or just embrace the fact that Fallout 4 is sometimes a bit of a borky game and you're not helping by adding mods. :)

There might be additional perks added to this pack later. I have some more ideas but do not want to promise anything.

(Note: Screenshots taken with Hot Diggity active. This pack does not include and does not rely on any Skills.)

Requirements:
F4SE - Required for LevelUpMenuEx
LevelUpMenuEx - Required for this mod to insert its perks. (If the mod is hidden it can be downloaded via this link.)

Installation:
1. Use a mod manager! It should handle everything for you.
2. If you insist on installing mods manually, the .esp file goes in Fallout 4/Data and the .ini file goes in Fallout 4/Data/PRKF and if you don't have a PRKF folder you haven't installed LevelUpMenuEx and this mod will not work. :)

Uninstallation:
1. Uninstall it using your mod manager or remove the .esp and .ini
2. Start a new save or revert to one before you installed this perk pack. You can't remove mods like this in the middle of a game.

Perks - Requirements:

Peculiar Priorities 1/2/3/Payoff - Level <10 / <25 / <50 / 100+
This is meant more as an experiment/challenge.
Peculiar Priorities 1 will add 25 to your damage and energy resistance, but subtract 50 from your radiation resistance. It won't go below 0 radiation resistance, a hard limit the game sets, but ordinarily a Rad-X would provide 100 radiation resistance. With this perk you're technically at -50 (assuming no other radiation resistance) so a Rad-X will put you at 50 radiation resistance.
You might be able to see where this is going. :)
Peculiar Priorities 2 adds another 25 damage and energy resistance, but subtracts another 100 radiation resistance. If you have no radiation protection at all, you're effectively at -150. Meaning a single Rad-X won't grant you ANY protection. You'll need at least 2.
Peculiar Priorities 3 is for those mad enough to have taken the first 2 and somehow not regretted it. This one adds 50 and 50, but subtracts ANOTHER 200 radiation resistance. You're now at -350 radiation resistance. You're going to need a hazmat suit or power armour if you go anywhere with radiation!
Peculiar Priorities Payoff is the final perk. If you've taken all 3 previous perks and reached level 100 you can take this one, which provides a whopping 1000 radiation resistance! And increases all XP gains by 25%. With no other radiation resistance sources you'll have 650 radiation resistance, which is a LOT ordinarily.
In case you were considering cheesing it by waiting until level 100 and taking all four perks at once, please note the level requirements above. You MUST take PP1 before level 11. PP2 before 26. PP3 before 51. It's a game-long commitment!
Maybe the idea of this doesn't appeal to anyone else, but I thought it was worth a try. Let me know in the comments if you try it, and especially if you'd like to see other perks in a similar vein.

Brutal But Brittle - Endurance <=3
Your bones have always been brittle, but it's taught you all the easiest ways to break a limb. Take 25% more limb damage but deal 25% limb damage to enemies.

Chatty Cathy - Charisma 5+, Level 5+
You love a good chinwag and now you learn more from it than ever. Triples your XP from speech check successes.

Extra Padding - Intelligence 6+, Level 10+
You've layered and stuffed your armour so much it provides +50 damage and energy resistance at all times, but it is BULKY. Enemies will detect you more easily while moving in stealth.

Float Like A Butterfly - Endurance <=3
Your light frame ensures you take less damage when falling from heights, but you also get knocked about more easily. Reduces falling damage by 50% but increases stagger chance by 20%.

Get Lucky - Level 69+
You're up all night to get lucky! Add 5 to your Luck, you've come too far not to.

Hard Bargain - Intelligence 5+, Charisma <=3
You know how to push for a good bargain, but vendors don't always appreciate the way you do business. 10% discount when buying from vendors, 10% less when selling to vendors.

Jamie Want Big Boom - Intelligence 9+, Level 30+
Say it with me, folks! Jamie want, big boom. Explosions you cause will be two times bigger and do twice as much damage.

Killmonger - Level 30+
You're good at killing, but you can always get better. Double XP for all kills.

My Precious! - Agility 7+, Level 20+
What has it got in its pockets, Precious? Improves your pickpocket chance by 25%

Radical Resister 1/2/3 - 10+/25+/50+
Nevertheless, you persist. Adds +10 to all resistance ratings at each level. Includes cryo/fire/poison. Tried to include electricity and radiation via eating/drinking but they seem to resolve to energy and regular radiation resistance anyway.

Recreationally Reckless - Luck 3+, Endurance <=3
You're half as likely to become addicted to chems, but it's left you a little reckless. Take 20% more damage from enemy weapons.

Shellshock Shy - Agility 4+, Level 10+
You've been a little too close to a few too many explosions, but it's sharpened your reflexes. Tuck and roll! Take 10% less limb and explosion damage.

Strong As, Bro - Strength 4+, Level 5+
You're like, strong as, bro! Increases your max carry weight by 100lbs.

VATS-FU - Perception 5+, Agility 5+
You know VATS-FU! Attacking and reloading costs fewer AP, you're a bit more accurate and if you shoot an explosive in VATS? It does a bit more damage when it goes boom.

You're Breathtaking! - Intelligence 8+
You're smart enough to know you've got plenty of oxygen in reserve long after it feels uncomfortable. You can stay under water 3 times longer without drowning.

(Cheat sheet: "<=" means less than or equal to.)
