Hi there, Could you mind to tell me which mod made your settlers got a name? like high confessor lawrence.. Mother Lilian? It's really awesome! I like all of those design from yours.
Whelp, apologies for the late reply! I wasn't PC gaming for months and completely forgot there might be comments on my mod pages. Maybe you've found the mod by now: Rename Anything It's an awesome mod that I rarely use however since I usually record my settlements without the HUD and I can't be bothered to rename my settlers just for myself. Did it for that one settlement only to try out the mod. Enjoy! And apologies again...
If it's a custom location, then it should be fine. My settlement is a vanilla location, the decayed reactor site. Should be on the other side of the crater. But better back up your game.
You'll be missing out on some clutter. The neon mod would hurt the most. You won't get the lettering on the reactors and the bar then. It's up to you if that bothers you.
Hi Onion , It's me again....I have a question for you.... I really don't know How did you made your game still running with those huge building mods.....you know ...when I use all of that blueprint's requirements... the workshop will needs a lot of time to open....... and after I build some place....(because I missed 3 requirements..So I have to change something...) Then CTD ..... That's too shame because I can't enjoy your awesome settlements ?QAQ... And the other problem is...How did you get the children of atom join your settlements? If you don't use faction pack(like Tinuvia 's Atom glory faction pack) I really don't know how.......
I checked out the YouTube tour you did showcasing this and it's amazing. You put a lot of work into this and the level of detail is perfect. Endorsed for those reasons alone.
That said, I'm with the other two previous posters here; I won't use it, not only because of the requirement list, but because I've never had good luck with transfer settlements. Any time I used a TS plan my cities died, NPC wise. The NPCs would just stand around after plan builds. I don't have those issues with Sim Settlements 2.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with in the future.
Thanks for the endorsement! Totally understandable. I've never used a blueprint from other people. Only imported my own to a different savefile to check and of course no issues there for me.
I've never used Sim Settlements either. I do love the various prefabs though. I think there's a mod that would let me build them without actually using Sim Settlements. Might look into that.
Currently working on a Sanctuary settlement with so many new mods added, it's only going to get worse if somebody were to try and important the future blueprint, lol.
This looks really awesome but I think many (myself included) are going to be unable to use because of the list of requirements. Have you reached out to the authors of all of those other mods to see if they will give you permission to use whatever assets of theirs you need to make your mod work?
Yeah, I know. That's why I didn't do blueprints for the longest time. Didn't seem feasible. But I kept getting requests. And I got tired of telling people that I don't think it makes sense. So I decided to finally do it even if almost nobody is going to download them. Just to shut them up and give them what they want. ;)
I don't even know how I would be able to use their assets. And what good that would do. I have zero modding skills. I just build stuff.
The upside for me is that I can salvage my builds that way in case of corrupted savefiles. Which I incidentally had today for the first time in 5 years on the same savefile. Found the culprit I think, fortunately. A bad object in a mod I'd been using for years.
I'll just upload all my remaining settlements anyway. Got like 4 more to go with a growing list of requirements, of course. If there's one person who can make use of it, then that's a win, I guess.
@OnionAddict It looks fantastic but I probably won't use it either because of all the requirements. However there is nothing wrong with making something just for yourself if it gives you pleasure and creative satisfactiion. Thanks for your efforts. Have yourself an onion on me.
