Fallout 4's companions are great, but that doesn't mean we can't miss those we left behind out west, with this mod you can bring one over!


This mod requires Extended Dialogue Interface to better preserve the dialogue choices from New Vegas, if enough people request it, I'll try to make an XDI-free version in the near future.

Arcade can be found at the Mega Surgery Center in Diamond City equipped with a plasma pistol, I placed him there because of his opening dialogue mentioning other doctors, and there aren't many places that I could think of that would make his line not seem super out of place.

Player Dialogue is unvoiced. I do not wish to go through finding all the voice lines for the player to speak, although I may add player voice in the future.

This is pretty much my first mod, so if anyone has any suggestions or finds a bug, please let me know!



Features


Currently he works as a fully functional companion, is able to work in settlements, and has affinity (There is no dialogue regarding affinity as of now, as I couldn't find any that would work very well)

His perk does not have any implementation, as there is no affinity dialogue for him for you to get it as you do with other Fallout 4 companions.
I considered trying to make the perk work like New Vegas, where you only have it while he is an active companion, but I could not figure out how to make it to where you lose it if you replace him with another companion rather than dismiss him through dialogue.

Known Issues


- If you dismiss Arcade and don't select a settlement for him to go to, he will not move from where you dismissed him, if you do select a settlement to go to, he will go there if a settlement is not selected the next time. I'm not really sure what the issue is with this, and it's quite minor so I'd rather direct my efforts towards something more impactful, but if anyone knows how to fix it, I'd really appreciate it!


Future Plans



- Recreation of all New Vegas followers except Lily and most likely ED-E, this is because I cannot recreate Lily's outfit, and there are multiple options to have ED-E on the Nexus already.

- Veronica is already half-way ready, so she should be released in the upcoming months, with either Boone or Raul coming after.
