God I f*#@ing love Arcade, Hands down my favourite character of all time lmao - Tysm for bringing him to life in Fallout 4, hehe. Looking forward to seeing this mod grow further. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_uu1a3hfjU He actually has a shocking amount of dialogue - I was looking through it to get my hands on some clean voice clips for a dumb idea I had, but tbh I feel like you could probs make better use of this
Last time I tried to release something with NV voices it got taken down and they said it was just a warning since it was my first time getting punished, In worries of getting banned I haven't done much work lately. I do have a Lily companion with an outfit nearly finished that I'll post elsewhere, but work in school has gotten in the way of finishing it.
hi there! i installed this mod yesterday and it's not working. I have XDI installed and his voice lines and he still wont appear in diamond city. not sure how to fix it (using vortex's mod manager)
Hey, Jashi! Thanks for your time and consideration.
I just tested it again, and confirmed that the problem is still present on my end across multiple power armor types. He is the only NPC with the issue. I made sure to put him in armor that is at 100% health and has a fully charged core (though neither of these things are really required for NPCs). Steps to reproduce:
1. Put Arcade in any armor (for my tests, I used T51, T60, and X01). Whether or not it has a power core is optional. 2. Make sure that Arcade is in "follow" mode, and then sprint a good distance ahead of him. 3. Turn around and watch. You'll see that he ambles slowly after you as though he's over-encumbered or something.
I tried to record a video of the behavior, but my SnagIt install isn't playing well with Fallout and just crashed repeatedly. Please let me know, however, if I can provide any additional information!
I just tested it out in a vanilla game with only Arcade enabled, and he still ran at the same speed as other companions while in power armor, so I'm not sure what's causing your issue. Maybe it could be a conflict?
Apologies for the delayed response here! I didn't get notified of your reply. :(
Hmm. I'm not sure. I just reinstalled my entire setup and I'm seeing the same behavior. It's isolated to him only. I also notice that when assigned to a task, he just stands around, even though the system still "understands" that he's performing the task. Is there a specific place in the load order I should place him?
Hm, that's really strange. I just tested that as well and it works fine for me. I'm using the same version that was uploaded to Nexus so I really don't know why it's causing issues for you.
Just wanted to note that I'm having the "strolling Arcade" bug too. I hadn't changed his gear at all. I was on my way from Diamond City to the library when I realized he wasn't around, retraced my steps, and found him casually strolling instead of running. After talking to him and walking backwards away from him I briefly had him running again, but then he stood next to an exploding car and hasn't run since. He said a line about needing a doctor's bag but he's not doing the "crippled leg" animation. Gave him some stimpaks (he already had 2) and he hasn't used them.
Hi there! I love the mod. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I've been playing with him and was wonderin if he was romanceable? If not, is that something that might be implemented? Thanks again for the mod!
I don't think there is enough existing dialogue lines from NV for that, so I didn't implement any romance. It may be something I look into in the future, as long as he has some lines that could be used that would feel natural and not out of place.

Thanks for making this mod, G
