what a beautiful mod time and time again ive struggled with items geting stuck and i come back and they fly off or get stuck in hoppers but this has just been *chefs kiss* looking foward to this next project <3
Hello. Agree with you, corn has that problem. Sorry, I don't think the method used in this mod works for that. (This mod changes the coordinates where the machine moves items in and out) However, your post gave me an idea, adding a non-cylindrical collision to the corn might solve the problem. I'll upload it if it works well, but I haven't been here much lately, so try requesting it from other authors if you think I'm dead.
You mean this hopper, right? (image) If the machineries doesn't work well: Bring it back to the workshop once. Then place it in the Settlement again. If it works well, hoppers can eat things bigger than melons. (Please see around 0:38 & 1:10 in the video)
(The part around 1:10 in the video is the hopper-shaped Auto-Butcher included in "Better Manufacturing", however, the 3D model is shared with the hopper, so this mod has the effect.)
Also, how about the idea of using a Conveyor belt lifts instead of ramps? Those fixes are already included in this mod.
Sorry i have a ask how many item can the hoppe catch bevor he become problem? 16 more? the Store end can use 16 than make he problem´s. i want make bis facktion but 16 item is thre nothing.
What this mod does is change the coordinates where the machine takes in and outs items. I haven't changed the item limit, so I don't know why, I'm sorry.

This is just my guess, the problem is also possible that the cubes were not transported because the 3D models of the machines and conveyors were unloaded. This problem can occur when you are far enough away that the 3D models of the machines are unloaded.
this is a common issue with every piece of machinery in contraptions... items being too big they jam the conveyor systems, would be great to see other machines changed as well

Objects do not clog machinery.
Otherwise, it suggests the machinery has gotten trapped inside an object.
