Is anyone else having a precombine issue outside the Greenetech Genetics building after installing this mod ?
I discovered the island, activated the workshop, and left promptly to Red Rocket without touching or scraping anything on it. I then installed this mod, went to the island to check it out and was quite impressed with how it turned out, and left without making any alterations etc (there was still a floating container where the barge used to be but I didn't touch that).
Later I fast travelled to Greenetch Genetics building but when I got there my frame rate dropped to 2 fps and took quite a while to load up the area and move up to a normal fps again. Did that a couple of times and same thing happened.
I then uninstalled this mod to check if it caused this and fast travelled again to GG building and the game loaded fine right away.
There is something weird going on in that area I think. I had another Spectacle Island mod installed in a previous play though and that one used to bring my game to its knees outside Ticonderoga building which is next door to GG, there was even a floating structure in that area so I stopped using that mod altogether even though it was my favourite for that settlement.
I read somewhere on Nexus that the game stores all the items which are scrapped from the island in that area/cell underground, which causes this issue, but I can't verify that because I'm not a modder unfortunately.
Would you be kind enough to check this issue as I would love to use this mod again, many thanks.
Fixed New Version 1.02 Available, for anyone upgrading just delete the 3 old files out of data folder and add the new 3 as they are named the same and your ready to go, i didnt rename them so your saved game wont even notice.
Thank you for checking this out, hopefully you will spot something that may have caused it.
As for having old stuff in my folders, nothing would surprise me with this game, but this is a new play through and as this issue sadly only happened after this mod and disappeared when I uninstalled it makes it directly linked to the mod unfortunately.
Thank you again for looking into it, much appreciated.
The area from Greentech to past the science gift shop, has always been an area for FPS drop off, with this mod installed there is a 3 FPS drop off but remains above 30 FPS. ATM I'm testing to see which settlements cause the drastic FPS drop off to 1-2 FPS, I suspect Bunker Hill &/or Vault 88, all the northern settlements except Zimonja are active.
I haven't found any settlements that I use that cause the FPS drop off this time & have all settlements active, I keep checking & each time it is above 30fps, I did the quests slightly different this time, I normally do the railroad quests as early as I can, but this time I also did the virgil quest & killed the courser inside greentech, so maybe doing that has cured the fps drop off.
It's not abaout settlements as far as i know. That area is been broken since launch. New game with all settlements build up allready i can run thruw that are while staying over 100fps all the time while on later on game first fps will drop down to 1-3 fps and soon after that cant access that area anymore because game is crahing everytime when near C.I.T/greentech genetics.
coming from fo3 this mod is so appreciated. I found I cant stand sim settlements and transferring map that call for 100s of other mods to work. this mod is so prefect being that I'm almost pushing 300 mods in my list
This mod must be one of the most underrated ones out there. With very little effort of my part, I have turned the hotel into a Finishing School for young ladies. The hotel feels really lived in by using the place animation mods all over to supplement the ones already there. I use my vertibird to travel to mainland so it is really immersive.
Sorry for bothering you, back after a while, i remember back in the day we have Transfer settlement mod , then u have to download ppl blueprint and all their mod requirement in order to port their build into your settlement, either that or use sim settlement autobuild/city plan. But if i understand this mod correctly, i just simply download the main file with MO2, then i go to Spectacle island and all these buildings and furniture will just be there ? w/o any extra work? no transfer settlement? no add on settlement mods? How?
Also is the object come along with your mod store-able with workshop ? or scrap, just askin, not like im gonna change anything, your build is better than anything i've ever done lmao , probably gonna add in a pool or sth .
sariq12 pretty sure homemaker etc fixed various floor n roofs to block rain/fog etc yonks ago. none of my builds let the weather in,though sometimes builds need to be in place a full cell cycle to cook them in.
ill wait n see if this mod gets fixed first i think,id hate the un-immersivness of raining inside. bud9961 sorry bout your unimmersiveness, there is no fix for this anywhere that i see , its easy to criticize stuff when you dont know how to actually fix it, sure i could fix it by modifying every vanilla nif in the game but my mod would be 80gb download and totally change the whole vanilla game or i could turn off weather for the whole island perhaps but then that would ruin your immersion as well, ive posted on the forums for like a year on how to fix and got not one reply ever on a way to fix. its nothing i broke its the way the developers made the game go to any vanilla outdoor settlement and you will see it rains in them too
thanks, as far as i know and when last checked When it rains, the wet shader gets applied to everything, covered or not and cant be fixed besides making it an interior cell, if anyone has a way yet to stop this then clue me in but as far as i know there is no way to fix that
Not sure how, but it doesn't rain inside other structures in the game. Not the vanilla made snapables/prefabs or the mod added snapables/prefabs. Try checking with the author of snappy housekits or another similar author.

Thanks for this great mod. But my settlers standing in some kind of markers and doing nothing, is it possible to remove these markers or make a version without these markers.
unless you are telling them to work on food there shouldnt be a prob im not understanding what exactly you are trying to get them to do, they cant work on the food in the greenhouse only the robots can, i mean you can assign them and they will work but they will just stand in place because settlers dont know how to interact with table type food production
