I was wondering why I wasn't seeing any female Gunners. I thought I was missing a requirement (since they aren't marked as masters), until I realized the ladies all got deleted with the Male Take Over mod I still have active XD Thank you for this, btw.

This mod looks really good, does it still work correctly and as intended as its been a little over 2 years sense its release? I have a little over 700 mods in my load order and am really careful of what I download.

Tell me what to do? Having installed this mod and everything that is required for it additionally, gunner veteran outlift becomes transparent for me, and I no longer know how to fix it... Who has encountered?

      Hi!

I just checked the mod and there are no missing/wrong files.

      "Gunner Veteran Outfit" Male model
      Check this file:
      Data\Meshes\Tital\GD\GD_Outfit_04M.nif
This file is from Gunner Operator v2.0 (previous versions have not this file! Update if necessary).

      "Gunner Veteran Outfit" Female model
      Check this file:
      Data\Meshes\Tital\GO\GO_Outfit_01.nif
This file is from "Gunner Operator - Bodyslide (CBBE and Uni-Boob)". It is created by BodySlide.
You can build this outfit in BodySlide:
"Gunner Operator Outfit 01 CBBE Uniboob"

Please check the missing file in game folder. Open the file in OutfitStudio to check it's correct. Rebuild outfit in BodySlide if necessary. Reinstall/update Gunner Operator if necessary.

      Female or male?
      Please report your results

I am missing GO_Outfit_01.nif. Not sure what I did wrong.
Also I am having invisible female bodies with these outfits:
Gunner Guard Outfit, Gunner Outlaw Outfit, Gunner Renegade Outfit, Gunner Soldier Outfit, Gunner Veteran Outfit.

      [Edit:]
Fixed my issues. I downloaded Gunner Operator 1.3 from the old files section.

I Installed and enabled 1.3 then installed and enabled 2.0 making sure it overrides 1.3 esp. And I stop getting invisible female bodies with the specific outfits I mentioned previously.

      • Install Gunner Operator v2.0
      • Install Gunner Operator - Bodyslide (CBBE and Uni-Boob) v1.33
      • Build outfits in BodySlide
      Check image:
      Spoiler:
      Show

      ;)

If you don't want BodySlide, simply instal Gunner Operator v1.3 and Gunner Operator v2.0 (replace files when asked).
Same way as image, to install and old version of a mod, go to files tab and choose file you want.

Purple outfits (obviously missing textures) on females, but working proportions (so Bodyslide did its job). On males, the entire body is invisible. I've tried installing an older version of Gunner Operator, I've tried ensuring I have the CBBE files and ensured that this mod loads after Gunner Operator. I also read the sticky post over on the Gunner Operator mod and it says that the author changed the filepaths and that any other mods that rely on his mod as a main file will need to be updated.

Would appreciate some help if anyone has a solution.

      Hi!

Yes, file paths had changed, and this mod takes advantage of that.

Check the versions you have installed:
      Gunner Op v2.0
      Gunner Op BodySlide v1.33

Also make sure your mod manager doesn't substitute one version for another when installing. Just in case, install and build BodySlide before install GOv2.0.

      It should work ;)

Meshes file paths changed, but textures file paths didn't changed.

"Purple outfits on females, but working proportions": Textures (from GOv.2.0) seem to be missing
"On males, the entire body is invisible": GOv.2.0 meshes seem to be missing

      Conclusion: GOv.2.0 is missing

This mod requires assets from others mods. BUT doesn't require activate plugins from these mods (!).

You can install all requirements and then disable these plugins in your load order. So any requirement from original mods are not required (!!).

      ;)

      Yes!

The only requirements are those listed in requirements section.

And remember, you can disable the plugin of required mods (in you mod manager) after install them.

      Hi

      I can't test it, because I don't use DLCs.

If FCOM gunners don't use these clothes means that they don't use vanilla "outfits".

This is how you can patch it. You will need FO4Edit (no need modding knowledge):

      • Install FO4Edit. It's a very simple program.https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2737?
      • Open FO4Edit. Right click on any plugin from the list, click "Select none". Now search "FCOM.esp", select it (check the square) and press OK. Wait a bit (wat until you see "Barckground Loaded: finished" at the bottom".
      • Unfold "FCOM.esp" (click on "+"). Unfold "Non-Playable Character (Actor)".
      • Search on this list a gunner character. This should be easy to find. Click the character.
      • On right panel, on first column, search "DOFT - Default Outfit". Be patience searching this first time. It should be approximately at the middle.
      • On second column, right click on the name of his current outfit. Select "Edit". Click on "Yes, I'm absolutely sure". Delete text here and write  "000FD39D" (without quotation marks). Press OK. (Done, this NPC now uses vanilla standard gunner outfit, and therefore this will use clothes from Modern Gunners).
      • You need do this on every gunner NPC on the Non-Playable Actor list from FCOM.
      • When done for all gunners, click Ctrl+S, press OK to confirm, and close FO4Edtit to save plugin.
DONE! Test it in game by spawning some new FCOM gunners.

I hope this helps! And I hope you do tacticool things with your modern gunners squad :)

      Maybe will try something.

The hard part is finding men's clothing. Do you know cool men casual clothing mods? That would be a good starting point for settler clothes, and therefore "normal" clothes in general.

      Thanks for your comment :)

Hmm the best looking make clothing I've found comes from elie’s armor or a few other mods she has released. Thats probably as casual as you are gonna get when it comes to males.

I honestly wish this just replaced all raider gear, my gunners already have galac tac and mercenary pack which is simply far better for them and gameplay wise.
Though gunner is literally in the name for the mod this utilizes, it would be better for raiders imo, just so that all vanilla stuff can be purged from sight forever.
Just my irrelevant opinion, cool stuff tho.

      Hi

Well, I'm not sure about that. I think this looks better I like the mercenary / paramilitary / private military contractor look. On the other hand, raiders don't talk and don't behave like the military. They are simply survivors (unscrupulous survivors).

A raider outfit overhaul is needed, but probably using more casual clothes. Basically worse equipped than gunners. Converting the raiders into military or paramilitary would be to transform the entire commonwealth into a complete war zone, which however is also interesting.

I've been toying with an idea: Turn super mutants into humans. Maybe with casual clothes and military accessories...

      Anyway opinions are welcome

I mean, the commonwealth is already a war zone, hike from Lexington to diamond city and you'll never stop firing your weapon.
And these do kinda look casual in comparison to galac tak and merc pack, minus the padding, vests and such.
True though, the raiders aren't militant or unified...Maybe one day someone will make a raider overhaul that doesn't keep any vanilla models or textures.
Not sure about the super mutant idea, too much dialogue about them for them to no longer exist...Maybe if the padding stuff from galac tak was fitted to their size and replaced the mutant vanilla gear? It'd would have to be only 6 pieces, arms/legs/helmet/waist.
Then again, THEY really aren't close to becoming tactical, evolution wise.

AH there is a replacer that helps raider swag, sad bit is it's included on gunners, scavenged merc Scavenged Mercenary Gear at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)
