Howdy, I have a question about Codsworth. When I assign him to farm he takes the assignment and it shows he is assigned along with the food increase up at the top, but he just "stands" still in from of the Sole Survivors pre-war home. Is he supposed to just stay there, or is he supposed to go around to the plants he's assigned to?

I use Sim Settlements 2 and related Workshop mods where NPC settlers are assigned to tasks automatically. I would certainly prefer to have Curie working as a doctor than a farmer. Does your mod have any affect on that?

SS2 is great, but not present in my current mod environment so I don't know if this mod would affect that, but I would hazard the guess that this mod should affect it. I can always compare any changes in the editor and get back to you.

One thing I recommend is that Workshop Framework NOT auto-assign jobs in the first place. Save that for your assignment choices. MCM is your friend!

If you still have issues with Curie, well, as often as I have been railing about Curie having all 4s as a synth, there's your answer. Curie's synth body doesn't carry over her Perception or Intelligence for a freaking mind transfer (damn lazy Bathysphere) so any perks assigned to Robot Curie won't transfer, either.

Definitely tracking. May I suggest the Sanctuary Crew (including Mama Murphy, I never give her that Jet in the first place) be given SimSettlements functionality as well (1 and 2, please)? For the love of God, Kinggath's avatar for it is Sturges!

It's up as an optional file called 'Settlers as Settlers'. It currently only does this to the sanctuary crew though I may add more later.

Piece of advice you can choose to follow or not (your mod page, your rules): a screenshot of the example changes in XEdit or list of specific changes for even one companion can help users decide; but thank you for the overview of changes and basic balance philosophy.
Quick question: Do you know if this effectively fixes the issue with assigning a companion like Codsworth to plots and him auto-assigning himself?
Edit: Lol, instead of assigning him to things barring supply lines, right now he is just looting things. I'll have to test more
All in all, thank you! This looks like a must for companions, especially in a modded game (why else would we be here anyways!)

yeah the codsworth issue always bothered me anything you would assign him to he would be unassigned from shortly after. regardless of completing his quests or not he has never worked right.

I got tired of that @#$@ and made Cogsworth the Provisioner between Sanctuary and Red Rocket.

Get to work ya robot bum!

Advice is appreciated and input is good, it means people are not only downloading the mod, but care enough to tell me; The pictures taken and will be uploaded sometime after this post.

Quick Answer: I think so. I've had Codsworth assigned to one task or another in GreyGarden and haven't seen him switch to anything else without my direct input.

Codsworth is one of the primary reasons I tore into learning how to make this mod. His refusal to really do anything 'at the homefront' except loitering around bothered me.

I have to admit to making non-hookup companions into provisioners because they retain the sweet weapons I give 'em so they are able to, y'know, survive which makes for provisioners that can mulch random crap they run into.

"For some reason you can send companions to settlements but not actually command them like settlers, this is no longer the case."

I am confused. I can send Cait to work as a guard or a farmer with no issues. But I suppose you mean something different.

Btw. can you take a look at the issue that Curie can not function as a settlement doctor when assigned to a clinic?

It's a minor enough niggle that most players probably shouldn't notice it. I play with the settlement system a lot and it tends to be a common annoyance for me.

I can indeed look into the curie issue - this mod should make her capable of functioning in that way, so either I missed something or another mod is overwriting my changes.
