Changelogs
Version 1.0.0
Initial release.
I made this change to my game a few months ago because I'm always running out of wood and frustrated that I couldn't get any from scrapping Pipe Guns when the receivers are clearly made of some amount of wood.
Most of the receivers now require 3 wood. Light receivers require 2. Heavy receivers require 4. Steel and aluminum requirements have been reduced for most receivers to offset the added wood.
This is a balanced change because, although you can now get wood from scrapping Pipe Guns, constructing the receivers will now require wood.
The Pipe Revolver has not been changed since it is made entirely of metal.
Compatibility
Should be compatible with mods like Better Weapon Scrap that change the base scrap recipes for weapons. I don't use any mods like Better Weapon Scrap because I'm satisfied with vanilla weapon scrapping with the exception of wood not being part of the Pipe Gun receivers .
