Just for the effort, you put into it I will endorse - very cute. I would love to hear how a native English speaker pronounces "Kässpätzle" and "Steckerlfisch". Thank you - gave me a good laugh.
Vilod's spirit is cheering you on from that other world's afterlife Beerfest, Sovngarde I think they call it... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I wonder if Vilod's still making that mead with juniper berries mixed in..." - Ralof of Riverwood. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Oh, yeah... I'm gonna put your dartboards up at the beer garden.
Or is this how americans actually call these foodstuffs? Wurtzen? Srsly? Käsespätzle also confuses me a bit, you can transcribe the äöü as ae, oe and ue, and I GUESS you can just leave the dots out for an american target audience, but doing it inconsistently in the same word is weird.
An idea for a fix was suggested by one of my kids. Her suggestion is to put the English as the main label, and the German translation after. One other thing... will beer be available at some point? There are a bunch of imported German beers IRL, you could make some authentic looking signage and tall mugs.
Perhaps a modder will be able to add the umlaut to the game. It'd make a great custom companion that could travel with you and help you in combat by adding critical level-ups to random vowel encounters.

(I only tried it for map markers, works fine there)
