After 5-odd days of going through every single mod to see which ones were causing my game to freez-up every few seconds, I unfortunately discovered the culprits were Jetfuel Radio and Raider Overhaul.
I don't wanna part with these mods, can anybody lend me some advice?
This has been my absolute favorite radio mod since I first downloaded it YEARS ago. I just wish there was more! Gimme hose snarky bits and good song clips!
This is honesty one of the better radio mods that I've tried and kept using. Over the years I've used 20+ different stations and I only kept around 5 of them because either the radio station broke from conflicting files or the music was just plain bad. Though, I do agree in some cases the songs repeat a little too often but I to got say the music is actually pretty decent and quite good to jam to while building.
I hope the creator comes back and finishes the rest of the mod, because added player progression would be awesome. :)
A good mod in terms of the custom host voice work and the music, but I just can't keep it. The repeated rants that the Institute stuff is all fake, when my char is bustin' his ass to take them down and sees their agents attack people, nah, not havin' that. Good work though, cheers.
i would guess the original idea was he'd recant and change his tune when the Institute openly invaded, as part of the "comments on player progression" intended feature, but since it never happened...
without exception the best radio station, modded or vanilla, ive listened to in any Fallout game. Dozer is interesting and funny, and the music is so good im actually putting some of it on my regular playlists. thank you for making this.
The mod works just fine. Does no user know how to actually prep, setup and install correctly?
This mod doesn't tell you what you need to know but the info is readily available with very little effort and due diligence. MWTCF's front page was a goods start. So this mod works, I have tested it, but the Description page could be more spoon-feedy for some people (like I used to be too).
i believe the glitch he is referring to is around 9 ish hours into a playthrough, jetfuel radio goes silent, and never returns, i am here looking for a solution too if im honest, as of now my head cannon says that dozer simply took a lil too much jet and over dosed, or maybe he walked away to piss, and got shot or something, never the less the mod dose eventually stop working from what i can see. dont suppose you could help there could you?
You may want to give this a try. I spent a while over the past couple of weeks making a patch in the form of a replacer .esp. I think I covered all the outstanding bugs in this mod, but it would help me to have more players out there trying it: Jetfuel Radio - The Refueled Patch
24+hrs of a new play and a lot of transfer settlements and building touchups and no issues so far. Very nice patch. Great radio station! So fitting too.
For whoever may be interested, I've created a patch for this mod with the permission of the author in order to address a couple of the issues that people have kept reporting over the years. Feedback is welcome, since it's always possible I missed something!
Nice Radio!!! I don´t know why i feel like StarLord from guardians from the galaxy when I explore the Commonwealth with this cool music. Hey I wanna ask something to the creator, would you let me make a translation of this radio to the spanish language (my mother language) I bet numerous hispanic players would love it, I am sure I can make a good radio host with my voice!!
