Make sure that you have that mod up to date otherwise the P90 will cause crashes. This is due to the spring inside of the magazine being skinned and CHW not supporting skinned objects on weapons.
The solution is to have the mesh for the spring excluded from apprearing on CHW which is already done by my mod but this feature is only supported in recent versions of CHW.
Hey everyone, sorry for the radio silence since this was released. Life has been a bit chaotic lately and I haven't really had much time to work on any mods.
I know this is going to disappoint a lot of people but I don't intend on updating this mod or the original but don't worry because there is going to be a solution coming for a lot of the problems people have with Combined Arms.
Currently I'm working on 2 mods, an outfit and a standalone American 180 weapon mod but after those are released I will be moving on to a larger project that will act somewhat as a complete redux of Combined Arms.
What I'm going to be making is a 'core' which will be a mod that contains all of the assets shared between every weapon and then have all of the individual weapons available to be downloaded individually allowing you guys to create the pack you want without having to download assets for weapons you won't use. It will however take time, requiring everything to be built from near scratch so bare with me while I chip away at it.
I have a weird bug, where the reflex sights have three grey squares around the red dot. So far I tested the AKM and Tokarev, and the Vortex Mini Sight and Barska Reflex sight. Also it seems that it only happens if the reticle is a dot, so Reticle A, G, H.
I'm not sure if it's the same issue but I experienced something similar. I just modified the alpha channel and the RGB to match and that seemed to work, maybe an nvidia thing? I don't know. Here's a pic of what I did: https://imgur.com/a/54hvLMw
Too late in game for me to get rid of this mod (even in Jan) but I did also download the Colt 723 thing. Biggest issues with it though are the various mods don't do anything, and it has no semiauto fire
If anyone else is curious about why the semi-auto fire looks so buggy on the P90 when aiming down sights, it's because of a bug with the file "wpnfiresinglesighted.hkx" at the file path "meshes/actors/character/_1stPerson/Animations/P90nv"
I've tried editing this file but I'm not an animator nor experienced modder, but I assume that one might be able to take the correct hand and weapon placements from the full-auto animation file, and simply trim down the number of key frames and ensure the animation goes back into default position correctly, this would essentially fix the issue, however since I'm unsure of how to properly edit hkx files without 3ds Max, I'm unable to provide a proper fix.
If anyone wants to give it a shot, I'd love to see the issue resolved.
hey, im not sure if this is where to post it, but when i go to modify the p90, it crashes out of the game. i have the 1.0.2 patch and the main file, i tried making one load beforte the other and vice versa. idk whats wrong
Using MK-12 SPR in T-60 Power Armor using VATS, your are just frozen in power armor and the gun does not fire. Works fine if you fire it manually outside of Vats OR fire it outside of Power Armor. Only this weapon.
Fix can be found here or here (if I remember correctly, the PA animation record for main pack's g36 can be copied over to the mk12 spr in xedit/fo4edit.)
Theres an issue with the makarov, when in third person and aiming while moving forward/left diagonally the character leans back awkwardly and the pistol is held to the side. I don't think its anything conflicting I tried ripping out a bunch of mods then tried to switch to vanilla animations which lead to the magazine and other parts floating which I guess makes sense.

I highly recommend all of the above as top-tier quality weapon mods. I still use the original combined arms pack too, but this expansion simply has too many bugs and the textures just aren't quite there compared to the original mod.
