This mod is good! But it affects the Preciombies in some spots on Main Street. If you have the Sanctuary Hills cleanup and roof repair mods installed, it may not be compatible. My recommendation is to install this mod, build the doors in each house, and then uninstall it. This way, the doors will be correctly placed and function properly, even with Auto Doors mod.
I can only place doors inside in my pre-war house, not the others :(
Also could you add a similar mod to Starlight drive-in too? There is a boarded door at the back, but with scrap everything its scrappable but no snap point to the door frame
i really like the mod but could not get it to work on the inside of the 2 houses. i would like to see doors on the inside of all the houses as i dont like the idea that my settler's are not closing the door to use the bathroom. not very immersive lol
I have the mod installed, enabled, and deployed, but I can't replace the front door to my sanctuary home... It just doesn't snap. Is there a correct way to install that I missed?
I had gotten 2 mods from this. One was just "Sanctuary Doors" and the other was a variant of that with a bunch of numbers with a .zip attached to it. Which one is supposed to be installed?
Please forgive me for any stupidity. I'm not tech savvy.
The front door to your sanctuary home is not scrapable by default, and is fully functional. because of this, I did not include the front door of the player home. The door to your garage is not place able by default, and so I did include a door frame there. The updated version also adds door frames internally to the player home. I am not sure how you lost your front door, as again, it is not scrapable by default.
As for the mod files, the .zip file contains the .esp file you need. NexusMods changes the name of the .zip file so that they can host it. What you need for the mod itself is just the SanctuaryDoors.esp file, in your <gamepath>\data folder (by <gamepath> I mean whatever folder the game is installed to, and contains the Fallout4.exe file, default is Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4). It then needs to be enabled in your mod menu BEFORE you launch a game save, or hit continue on the main menu. Your post make me think you have this, just wanted to clarify.
I will update BOTH versions to include the front door, in case you were able to scrap it using a different mod/method. Again, I did not think of doing this initially as the front door is simply not scrapable, or even movable by default.
Update: I started getting CTDs when leaving Sanctuary. I disabled the mod and the crashes stopped, but the doors were still in place. In case anyone else has the issue.
That can't be related. The plugin is clean as f***, it only places a bunch of vanilla markers. Some of these markers are already in the cells. In no way that can cause a crash.
