    Can you widen the collision a bit? while playing around with it I realized that I could clip into the mesh (as pictured.)

      No I can't. Still need to set up 3DS+plugin, to actually be able to create collisions. Currently it comes with a copied collision from a wide institute door, which I can only move & rotate, but not scale or change in any other way.

      I am now able to create collisions myself, so I created a new, properly fitting, collision. No more clipping through ;)

    Is there a way we can tone down the specular? It's a tad bit too shiny...

      Yeah I don't know how that happened, Its not supposed to be shiny. It so happens I just updated it for my new vault pieces mod, adding it to the workshop (amongst others, incl. a wide doorway). So I just updated this one as well. (although its kinda obsolete now)

      I followed your instructions on how to convert the .nif flies in the creation club but could not find the menus or commands you specified

      Did you mean the creation kit, instead of club? Otherwise, that's what's wrong. The instructions are for the creation kit.

    Plan to make this a proper mod so we don't need to go around editing in CK to use it?

      i've been working on hundreds of new vault pieces, for the workshop  including this door & the doorway(s) to go with it. But I still need to set up my 3DS 2013 to add some proper collisions. (using Blender so far)

    Unrelated, but why is your activate button set to numpad 9? That seems really inconvenient.

      I'm left handed. For me WSAD in no option. Especially on my notebook where my wrist would be on top of the mousepad. So my keys are configured for my right hand on the numpad.

      Oh, well thank you for explaining! I never really considered how being left handed might make it harder to play video games.

    Is this a replacer, or a settlement menu mod?

      It adds a wide door, which doesn't come with the vanilla game. So, it replaces nothing. This is 'only' a CK resource, so you can't build it inside settlements. Unless you add some snap points tot the nif and create a recipe. ...but then you would still need a doorway to put it in.

      I plan to release a workshop version of that and more, but that will likely take a few more months.

      hmm, that's groovy bro.
      Perhaps this should be listed as a resource so other modders looking for this would be able to find it quicker?

    Fabulous Job! I love it!
    But | found this by looking for an automatic GATE for my settlement walls gateways  .. 

    I wonder If I can "place anywhere" using workshop this door into a hole in my cement walls? I don't mind clipping :)

    MOST IMPORTANT can one of those 'supply lines' loaded to the rafters Brahmins make it through that gate?
