I believe that's the point, putting up the resource so that someone can script it properly. Looks like this has come at a good time because the reload animation could just use the F4NV Single Action Revolver animations as it seems to have a built-in revolving barrel with a slot on the right side where bullets are loaded one at a time.
Gold looks a little different, because it does not oxidize. This is brass. And brass parts were everywhere in the 19th century. If you don't understand anything about design ... well, all you have to do is think of golden horse penises.
