    Changes in 2.3:
Make a backup before upgrading to 2.2, the plugin name (and some Form IDs) has changed and my custom matswap and See-Through Scope will disappear from existing weapons. This was unavoidable to prevent more issues from occurring down the line. The weapons themselves should be fine. but make that backup just in case or i will nelson-laugh at you.

Found a bunch of errors in the naming scheme in the original mod; fixed most of the obvious ones, more updates likely to come.

Custom matswap (purple with purple glowy bits, "SpaceCat") improved, emittance made uniform and a little darker. No more different colors and brightness on the different glowy bits. I recommend the venerable but still working perfectly Gorgeous Glowing Plasma Weapons if you want to choose purple plasma effects and projectiles to match (or any other Plasma color replacer they offer!)

Naming scheme for SpaceCat is based on Quad's original naming scheme for Quantum cat: Quantum Cat has Old School; SpaceCat has New School
Quantum Cat has Peoples' so SpaceCat has Workers'
QC has Legit... SpaceCat has Bogus lol. And so forth...

    TODO:
Now that each type of firing mode has its own sound and default reverb, next will be making the various interior reverb layers for each one. Since it has 9 different firing sounds, and each sound needs five interior layers to be made, this will be done... soon-ish(tm)

The See-Through Scope's reticle would vibrate and jump around wildly like a chinchilla on crystal meth when firing any kind of automatic. This has been corrected. Reticle matches projectile exit at all times now. That done, next will be figuring out why it embeds itself in the middle of the weapon model on any material except mine....

And now for the less-good news: given how extensive the changes have needed to be just to get these few things done, I don't see how I can sanely and reliably maintain a version against the .esl QuadAccel alongside the .esp, sorry. After asking around there seems to be no sane workflow that lets you just convert one to the other; they don't match up, Form IDs are all different, it would mean starting over from scratch and building a new plugin for it as if this one never existed. Maybe some day i'll have the time to do that, but that's a no-go for now.

Credit to Henk's See-Through Scopes Framework for the tutorial that let me make the scope

    Changes in 2.0+:

I've made a new reverb tail for each of the 9 barrels (which determines the firing sound). Yes, 9 new sounds. So the Pistol doesn't sound like the Shotgun doesn't sound like the Sniper, etc. Note this is in the "for the ESP version," file 2.0 or higher only.

Bugfix: The original mod had some sound settings swapped for the Machine Pistol and the SMG, they were pointed to each others' files, so that's fixed too.

Really impressed with the audio quality for this and your new Wattz release, keep up the good work! Especially happy for the STS support, I literally found this update while looking for an STS patch lol. Can't wait to see (er, hear?) future updates, would love to see this applied to the Glock-86 (some of the audio, such as for the Gauss barrel, are using recycling vanilla sounds), the Volk, and AER15 (maybe include a recoil update for this last one? Never could get into that recoil-less action, feels like a toy lol).
I do have one question - Are you able to explain how the audio swap works when removing the s_40_Plasma keyword without providing a new s_40 to take its place? I'm still pretty new to messing with audio in FO4Edit.

Thanks for your time and efforts, l really love the new sounds.

Edit - So I noticed the known issue re: the STS sight not mounting properly to all the default skins, which wouldn't be an issue for me using yours except it shows up purple for me... Not sure what the problem is, no errors showing in FO4Edit, verified that the file paths are correct for all the material files... I extracted everything with Cathedral to use loose files, as I'm currently at my ba2 limit, could that be an issue?

Further Edit - After updating to the latest BuffOut, and thanks to that genius' update of removing the archive limit, I tried reinstalling and I'm still getting the purple issue... any tips would be appreciated. I'm using v5 of the original mod. Upon further inspection, I noticed it also conflicted with textures from the Lima Detachment mod somehow (I just happened to be in one of the bunkers added by the mod while doing my testing), causing a strange pixelated static look to certain metal textures as well as my character's face showing with strange horizontal markings like the textures were corrupted. Removing all but the entries for editing the audio, as well as the BA2s (leaving only the loose audio files) fixed the issue. I would love to figure out how to fix this, but it's beyond my understanding atm.

Also wik - Turns out you don't really need an STS patch, if you just increase the zoom value on the reflex sight. Left the first one at default and raised the second to 4x so it was equiv to a combat scope. Would still love to use the new skin if anyone's able to help with that issue.

    Hey spacefiddle

Thanks for this! Sounds much better. I was looking through your other mods and they look pretty cool too. Scarcity in particular looks awesome, and I'm definitely going to try that on my next playthrough.

Also, your voice acting for SS2 was amazing, especially Archon!

Thanks for the patch, I can't wait to listen to this over and over again clearing the wasteland. =)
Since it's been a while since the v2.2 release of this I assume you're still desperately in search of a sane method of keeping the ESP and ESL versions in-sync. When you do find that magical nirvana, can I request that your updated version for the ESL Accelerator be itself flagged as ESL ? It can be done manually now with the existing patch but it's always nice not to have to deal with that when things update.
    Much appreciated !

I hope so >.< i've taken a crack at creating one from the existing esp, and talked to some other mod authors about it, but (for the Accelerator at least) there's no way to just "convert" my patch to be for the ESL version, so I have to basically...... do everything i did again from scratch. In a new patch file. Want to make sure I don't leave anything out, and it's going to take a bit.

Just noticed that the Machine Pistol and SMG have their sounds swapped, error in the base mod. Whoops. Might as well fix that while I'm at it....
Next version up Soon(tm), have created tails for each individual barrel (which determines the firing sound).

Can you make a version that works with the .ESL version of the Quad Accelerator?

Ah thank you, I did not remember that there WAS an .esl Quad. Sure, I should be able to get that posted tonight.

Awesome sound design. How did you make the bolts purple?

Oh heh I've had that so long I completely forgot that normally they ain't!

Gorgeous Glowing Plasma Weapons has a bunch of colors to choose from, and it changes all plasma projectiles, impact effects, etc. to match.  It also makes the glowy bits on vanilla Plasma weapons match.

If I can stop breaking my uploads on this mod today >.< , I plan on taking a crack at making some skins for the Accelerator that change its green glowy bits to purple as an optional download, just to see if I can, and have it all match in my game =)
