Ideally I would like to use your city plan with the Interior Apartments mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16457). Do you know if they are compatible?
They're fine together. The plan blocks off a few doors and doesn't make use of the full space, of course, but that's easy enough to remedy (for instance, delete a wall and insert some stairs if you want settlers to be able to get into the new areas added by Interior Apartments).
Worthless location? You never played on survival, did ya? Hangmans is basically central. Close to all kinds of vendors. Highly fortifyable against attacks. In other words, on survival, where you can't just carry a million items, ammo has weight, stimpacks too, you are in danger to diseases all the time, need to manage ur basic needs and fasttravel is disabled, this is one of the most valuable locations.
Absolutely love the location on the MAP - I play on survival. Have been for years - after that got too easy, now I use horizon /desolation, with increased difficulties. So totally get your comments about why the map placement is good...
My comment is about the usefulness of the LAYOUT of the settlement space - while many settlements have insane set ups - hangman's is really absurd - they are surrounded by buildings that have mostly intact walls and roofs - yet, they are living in the alley.
There are a few good mods that revamp the area - most make better use of the space, expand the borders etc.
This city plan is a great use of the low quality space - which is good as it is in a valuable spot on the map.
This looks really neat, but unfortunately it doesn't fit what kind of settlement I need there.
Not to be greedy, but I would love to have an optional level 3 download for all the great city plans. Starting over from level 0 when wanting to switch later on is painful, so I hardly do it
This city plan is cute as a button. I love it! Possibly silly question, but is there a way to get Preston's outfit for the mannequin without taking it from Preston?
I believe you can add it to your inventory using the console command "player.additem", but you'll have to look up the item ID for his "colonial duster" in-game.
Set this up a couple weeks ago and it's turning out fantastic. I never know what to do with Hangman's Alley and this has given me inspiration for future playthroughs.
Thanks! I never know what to do with Hangman's Alley, and the city plan that comes with SS2 is just okay, seems to be based loosely on the configuration the raiders built. This looks good. Best of luck in the contest, the other entries cover places I've already built in or won't go to any time soon (the island), this is the first one I'll actually use in my game. Actually going to go set it up right now...

By the way, that name alone should be worth 3000 XP.
